I think we can all admire the work Big Dunc has brought to Everton while in charge, undefeated in the Premier League and just missing out on penalties in the Quarter-final of the Mickey Mouse Cup. But how did he do it?

After countless hours studying the genius behind Duncan Ferguson the manager, I've come to show a breakdown of his tactics.

    Formation: Flat 4-4-2

    --------------------- S A G ---------------------------------

    KPIAGY -------- CLPUPTH ------ TDTPSMMKBAGY ----- RASFTYCM

    BBAOHITL-LS------------ LBSLGYC ------ KISLS -------------CB

    --------------JHBRA -------- JHBRA

    Super Sub:
    GSGSOCBOA

Main tactics: counter-attack, press ball, high line

S.A.G: Short ass goalkeeper, Pickford fits this role perfectly, none of the subs stood a chance.

KPINAGY: (Kick Player in The Air Get Yellow), this role was performed well by Sidibe. When the attacking wingers run down the wing, it would be paramount to kick them into the air, so they lift at least 1 yard off the ground.

CLPUPLSTH: (Chop leg, pick up player, look scary threaten-headbutt). No doubt Mina thrived in this role.

TDTPSMMKBAGY: (tackle, don't tackle, pull shirt make mistake kick ball away get yellow): An italian player would be absolutely ideal in this for the shirt pulling and getting the yellow card, but such a compilcated position, Keane was a natural in this role.

RASFTY-CM - (Run, around shoot from 30 yards cover Mistake ). Baines was immense in this role,, especially against Leicester. Digne didn't have his shooting boots on and was injured half the time.

LBSLGY - (Lose Ball Sweep leg Get Yellow) Since this Everton team are not good enough to perform their own attacks, it's paramount to have a player who loses the ball so a counter attack could be built, however if players are not in position for the counter, then sweeping the leg is neccessary to stop their attack. Tom Davies perfomed this role to perfection!

KISLS- (Keep it simple look surprised): With the extent of injuries to Everton's central midfield, it was either going to be an attacker or defender to play this role. It so happened to be Mason Holgate. Who performed exceptionally.

BBAOHITL -- (Kick Ball Away or hold onto it too long look silly) ---- Iwobi and Bernard took turns in this exceptional tactic. Iwobi looking the silliest when he actually proceeded to dab when an opposing player dribbled past him.

CB - (Cross Baller) Not to be confused with a centre-Back- This was position is cross ball. Doesn't matter if you was in the half way line or corner flag.

JHBRA -- (Jump Head Ball Run Around). Performed exceptionally by Dominck Calvert-Lewin but none of the others.

    Super Sub Roles:
GSO-GSO-GSBOA - (Get Subbed On-Get Subbed Off-Get Subbed Back On Again) -- Performed brilliantly by Moise Kean and Cenk Tosun. Unfortunately Duncan Ferguson isn't aware of the rules that once subbed off, the player can't go back on.

No doubt the opposition was confused by this genius but little did they know that it was all part of the plan.
