Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 Well he HAS outplayed/outscored those 'paquetes' so I'm not sure what you're getting at here.
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 i think he was talking about the times Alva played in clubs outside Peru im sure Wally scored in Libertadores aswell
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 that they want to replace him but the dirigentes are to useless at scouting to get anyone thats half decent anyway as a non grone or crema I do rank Waldir higher based on what he did in Peru
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 Da risa como muchos aliancistas quieren justificar a Waldir bringing up his goals on the domestic front... Bottom line, Waldir was crap at the national level... That is what it was in question... One more thing, Waldir scored the vast majority of his goals against the scrubs of the Peruvian League, los equipos provincianos... Waldir siempre fue arrugador en los partidos importantes...
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 this is about Wally vs Alva not so much about Waldir's greatness neither was a great...clearly
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 Agreed. He went as far as going only by "waldir" like he was from Brasil or something. To think, he had to look in the mirror and see "Colorado" every time.
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 one lucky goal? they scored the same amount while waldir played twice the amount of games
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 alva is more talented, technical . waldir era mas goleador. alva imo is slightly better overall
Re: Transfers Rumours - Part 6 Damn, homie you're just gonna ignore the 11 additional games Waldir played huh? Also, Waldir was a #9 and was put in there to score goals. Pierito was always a supporting forward and has even been played as a mid pretty often. Like passat said, Waldir was great against the shittiest teams in the league and was a big time pecho frio when it mattered. And this is with Alianza. He was garbage with the NT against good and crap teams. And while we can't put a number to it, Piero always busts his ass playing and has tons more heart than Waldir. Wally is giant pecho frio, even for Alianza's standards. Yeah, he'll be remembered more 10 or 30 years from now but Piero was the better player.
