How's this for a steal.... Nike tiempo legend IV elite for $20 picked up yesterday here in San Diego. It's a shame they're a size too small.
I hope they're better than the Puma 18.1 One. That heel was so loose my foot actually fell out in the middle of a game!
Here are some rare items kelme multicleat for AG und the kelme precision. They costs under 30€ and the quality is very good.
Honest Opinion Please, does blackout colorway look good or bad... I personally always wanted to have it done.
I do agree on the shiny part but I had conditioner on them which made it worse... but if anyone is wondering. The 98 Predator rubber shot panel makes the boot almost uncomfortable to wear but when you make perfect contact, the panel definitely works. Makes your shot feel quicker while adding a "slight" more curve. I cannot imagine how fun and difficult it must have been playing in the 98 World Cup against fantastic players and Zidane in a pair of these. Congrats France....it was their World Cup 20th anniversary so that win is something special.
Finally got my grails!!! Couldn't get them when I was young but got them now. Had to pay resale but it was worth it. Now debating if I should wear them or put them on display
Beautiful pair you got, In my opinion I would keep them as a Display just because A. They are New it seems B. I had the opportunity to wear the same colorway / size and they are stiff boots. C. Your eyes love them but your feet might not.
I had the vapor 4 and got bad blisters from them so I know these ones also gonna give me blisters if I do end up playing in them. Never heard that they were that stiff though
Well I guess stiff isn't the right word maybe but I believe Nike at the time was trying to find a replacement to Leather with something synthetic. I feel it was perfected on the Vapor IV which was Teijin synthetic leather. On the other hand the Vapor III which is the one you have, in my opinion looks so much better than the Vapor IV but the upper does seem to crease much more rather than mould like a leather boot "normally" does. On a side note the heel counter on the early model vapors starting with the first one all seem to be prototype designs simply because it was changing every year due to flaws in the previous one, so it is another thing to consider. I enjoyed the Vapor IV pink heel support in the back while other people cut them out with a knife... same goes for the Vapor III yellow heel sock.
Got a pair of Puma King Top M.I.I. for $47 off eBay. The leather is softer than the standard King and has more pronounced leather grain than the standard model. They also seem to be a little roomier and wider. The Made In Italy does not have the internal elastic straps to keep the tongue centered. Pretty pleased, especially for the price.
Those 1970's were a surprise favorite of mine, they're ridiculously comfortable. I made the mistake of selling mine a while back and now I'm stuck searching eBay for new pair. Brilliant colorway and great price!
