The one I'm forward to seeing is the new Das Antas. It has that fascinating roof design and it would allow fresh air to cool down the crowd.

    Midwest, the real one.
Can't wait to see the final pics. Some of them look to be enormous!

What will the capacity be for these stadiums?

Will these stadiums be a little too big for the crowds that the Portuguese league draws?

I think the biggest ones are Benfica, Porto , and Sporting. Those will range 50-70,000 or so.
I think they will be big for some of the crowds that gather as with most leagues When I watch some of the matches coming out of Germany, and other leagues you will see some empty seats. When the Big three play each other you can expect those stadiums to be at capacity.

    Benfica's will hold 65,000-70,000

    sporting's and porto's will hold 45,000-50,000

the rest of them will hold around 30,000-40,000

I believe the upper seating sections in Faro's stadium will be taken down after the competition, so that capacity will be reduced to about 20,000. It sounds like a very good plan, especially since there'd be no point in having to maintain all those extra seats that would never be used.
