Here's a pic of me in front of Carlos Bocanegra's locker before the game, holding the flag he traded with Mexico before the game and the captain's armband.

Yeah, I asked him... He said he knows it was close and he hadn't seen the replay, but he still had to give the ref some sh!t and make him doubt himself...

I also got him to sign one of those posters that Nike was giving out at the tailgate before the game. Anyone want to start the bidding??? :D

How about you? Did you ask yourself to watch the hole entire play from the beggining to see that he was actually offsides?

or did you just say to yourself "but it was after he kicked it i think"

I know all the guys that play for the Dynamo, but truth be told, I bought the Ultimate Fan Ticket to the game, and it included the opportunity to go into the locker room before the game, and hang out with the players in the mixed zone after the game...

hmm... let me see that might be worth it... get a jersey signed by all the players...

did you ask any of the players for match worn jersey?

where do you buy the ticket?

In regards to the match worn jersey, we found out from the US Equipment manager in the locker room before the game, that the players wear two jerseys each game. The jersey they wear in the first half is kept by the team, and the player wears the second jersey in the second half and can do whatever they want with it. Since this was the unveiling of the new US jersey, it was assumed all players would want to keep theirs for posterity sake. I think Landon Donovan traded jerseys with a Mexican player, but that's it. By the time we got to hang out with the US players, they were already all showered up and leaving the stadium for the team bus. None of them had bags or anything with them, so getting a jersey wasn't really possible.

Lastly, it seems like a lot of people are sending me PM's and asking questions on here about the Ultimate Fan Ticket, so I'm going to start a new thread about it. Please check out that thread and ask any further questions about it there...

Yeah, USsoccer.com also has a good explanation of it as well. Nice pics, and cool that you could meet players. Did you only meet Deuce or others as well?

And Donovan did trade jerseys with a Mexican player.....with none other than Magallon himself....

No, we met all the players. The GM of the US National Team actually made sure that every player came up and thanked us for being an ultimate fan. We had the opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with everyone. BUT, check this out...

Out of the 17 people who ordered the Ultimate Fan Ticket, 8 of them were die hard Mexico supporters, wearing green and everything. After the game, Hugo Sanchez walked by and started signing autographs for the Mexico fans. He got to the guy next to me, who was the first USA fan in line, he took the sharpie, got ready to sign, then at the last minute, he noticed he was wearing a USA jersey. He handed the pen back to him without signing, and then started to walk off. JUST BECAUSE HE HAD ON A USA JERSEY!!! I yelled at him, "go f#*k yourself!" He turned around and started walking towards me and I continued to share pleasantries... He got right in front of me, and when I refused to back down, he finally backed down and walked away...

I got a few hi-fives for that one. What a douche...
