From another forum..... Rules: You can't include ANY 1999'er on the team. I should define "1999'er" huh? OK a "1999'er" is a player that was on the final roster for the 1999 WWC. Now with that out of the way.... Pick 2 players from each of the WUSA teams. That will give you 16 WUSA'ers. Pick 2 current collegians. That gives you a total of 18 non-99'ers on this team.

Sorry I'm in a weird mood but what is po? Just because she graduated from Stanford, doesnt mean shes good enough for the National Team. She may have some soccer smarts, but she was un-productive this year and last on the Power. I think there are better players than her to pick, even if its the Power.
just to make a correction D) since i was browsing...emily stuaffer graduated from harvard, not stanford if my memory serves me well... elaine
lol i completely didnt realize what i wrote...i was lookin around Ritas fair bear website and for some reason stanford stuck in my head..lol i knew it was harvard but i pulled a dumb 1...haha thanks elaine

That's pretty stupid. Is this mental masturbation, or are you trying to find the "next" national team? If you're trying to build a team that might actually win the World Cup next year, then that's an arbitrary limit that makes no sense. If you're going to be that arbitrary, why is the W-League left out? I can list a great 18, or even 23, that would win the World Cup without using the Class of '99, but it certainly doesn't fit into these rulz.
Why even borther asking and just do it for the hell of it? i thought the same thing but than i decided it would be nice to try and do it w/ 2 from each it made me be nice to all the teams. not just my 3 favs
