http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/story.hts/nation/1653596 http://www.artbell.com/letters88.html I wonder what movie they were showing on that transatlantic flight.
That someone is taking pictures of this. This is supposed to be top secret shite not out there for everyone to see.
Ok, I am fine with people complaining about a security leak, I was just waiting for some bleeding heart to come here and discuss the rights of the prisoners and how they should have been flown first class on American...etc.
The terrorists, you know, the same ones we are returning, will be the same ones that return to attack us. These photos will be more fuel for the fire.
> The most important question should be- why were they still breathing? Well, they did give up. We said that we would treat them like POWs, and I firmly believe it is in our long term interests to do so. All those POW rules were invented to help powerful nations against weak ones. If a guy sees that captives are treated ok, it will make him more likely to give up as opposed to continue fighting in the hope of taking a few of us with him. I don't really see the pictures as going against that.
Wow. Spejic's making sense. Now the funny part: And then, of course, there's always the microchips implanted in their butts.
Im supprised they let them sit the whole flight! and to think of all the fuel it took to fly all those sorry asses all the way to cuba.
They should have flown of the Bermuda Triangle and added to the mistique of the the infamous waters. "Plane-load of terrorists dissappear. American flight crew found floating in life raft, rescued."
bleeding heart blah blah One POW was denied access to government officials from his country, and this goes against international law. The USA didn't even tell the government of the country that they were sending the POW to Cuba until he was already there. Remember I am a Canadian and I don't know any thing. 'They think I'm slow because I'm Canadian, eh?'
You think that is bad, try being so perfect and always right. It ain't easy, but we Americans are willing to do it for the sake of the whole world.
I love people like this. God bless you son. People like you criticize the US for its actions one day, and criticize the US for its lack of action the next. Like it not, there has to be a system out there watching over the world. I am not a fan of all US foreign policy, but you must face the fact that right now the world depends on the US. The world has, over this past century, made the US a (for lack of a better definition) global policeman. Now I understand some of the complaints, but you put us here. If you want to try, feel free. Step up and take over. I give you a month.
