USA Today Photo- Is Mulrooney playing the right sport?

Anyone see the photo of Mulrooney going up for a header in today's USA Today? Either the camera is playing tricks, or Mulrooney has the leaping ability of LeBron James. Remarkable elevation!

    Sorry I don't have a link.

That one's pretty good but is not as impressive as the one in USA Today. His feet are basically at Armas' hip.

You should have seen him during the return leg of the playoff game against the Galaxy a few months ago. He was winning balls in the air going up against much taller Galaxy players. It almost looked as if he was jumping a whole foot higher than he normally does :)

Not to be a wise guy, but I always felt that he looked a little like Scott Peterson, the dude who offed that dame out in California.

If that's the case, where's the picture of Wambach giving him a weggie and throwing grass in his face?

Yeah, he really does get that high.

Heh, heh. Actually, it's DeRosario who gets that high. Mulrooney only leaps that high.

There was a great photo back in 2002 (?) of Mulrooney leaping up that high, the ball planted square on his head, his head wrapped with a big ole bandage.
