For all my Seattle bashing, I'm in absolute awe of what their ownership group has been able to do. I really hope our owners are furiously scribbling down notes, because the final exam is approaching sooner rather than later. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=725067
Good for them! I think this ownership 2.0 model is something we'll see more of around the country. The Philly group is headed in the right direction in terms of responsiveness from what I've heard & seen. After the stadium plans are finalized and the shovels are in the ground, we'll see much more tangible owenership interactivity with season ticket holders and the SoBs. And the name... ...with a tiny assist from the SoBs.
For some reason, the only "good" thing that Seattle is doing that helps them is getting rid of the Sonics....I don't think Philly is going to boot the Sixers any time soon. Other than that, can we get the Eagles to help out?
