I posted this in the Lot 8/Barra Brava forum but thought it would get more visibility here. Thanks.

Sorry if this is old hat for most of you but we are looking to make our first road trip (finally) and go to the Philly game on the 16th. We want to sit with other DC supporters during the game. What's the best way to go about this? I saw that the Barra Brava has a non-members ticket only sale but I was unclear on the instructions at the bottom of that page? If we go that route, where/when would we pick up the tickets (DC? Philly?). If we just buy the tickets from the Philly website what section(s) do the supporters groups sit in? Any info is appreciated.

Congrats! The Philly trip is a lot of fun. Jay (Victory on this forum) will send you info when you order the tickets from the Barra website. There will be at least a couple hundred DCU ppl going from the various groups so they should be pretty easy to spot once you are at the stadium. We all walk in together and sit as a group.

I would NOT suggest buying tickets from the Union website. No guarentee that they will put you in the right section.

Or from the ticket window. A friend and I were in Philly that day last year on other business and decided to go at the last minute and at the ticket window we specifically asked to sit in the away section with United fans and the guy acknowledged me. After we got around the stadium and handed our ticket to the guy watching the section we realized the guy at the window screwed up and the guy at the section wouldn't let us through, ignoring the fact that we were fully decked out in DC gear.

So I'd say if you are planning ahead, get your tickets here.

And just so you know, the parking is a nightmare. Plan to be home very late.

My guess is there is no tailgaiting at the stadium?

Hmm, I just tried to purchase through the BB website and was limited to a single non-member ticket. We need 4 tickets total. I sent a message to Jay (referenced from the Lot 8 thread) about it. Does anyone know if this is a know issue or am I doing something wrong in the ordering process? Is there a similar limitation when ordering through the Screaming Eagles?

Just for followup in case anyone else is buying tickets through the BB - there was a problem with the web site and Jay fixed it so that non-members can buy more than one ticket.
