http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=470900&root=europe&cc=5901 Soccernet's Phil Ball giving an account of the officially unrecognized history of Levante's cup victory in 1937, but for our interests read it all the way to the end where he hints at the possibility of invalidating all of Real Madrid's trophies from the Franco era. (Thus getting to the quote in the title to this thread.) Personally, I don't know what to make of this possible political/historical decision, if it were to go through. So much of the Barcelonista identity is based upon a sense of long-standing injustice that RM has profited from. On the other hand, damn right Barça is the best club ever and it's about time the record shows it.
