A local paper reported that among other things
Anschutz owns two european soccer teams. Anybody know what teams they are?
    Thanks

One of them is Hammarby of Sweden. I believe they just recently won a championship there, apparently after decades of mediocrity.

No problem. If you have a link to that story, I'd love to see what they are saying about Uncle Phil

All comments should also be taken with a healthy dose of salt. Charley "Shooter" Walters' column is basically a mix of rumors and random comments that he seems to get from talking to the same 4 or 5 sources on a regular basis. While sometimes interesting to read, it's not exactly a reliable source of information. Actually, it kind of reads a lot like those Larry King columns and the Jackie Harvey spoofs of them in the Onion.

I worked for the Rapids and Uncle Phil also, at that time, was owner or part owner in Grasshoppers in Switzerland. I don't know what part of it he is now, but he had his hands in lots of leagues and sports in Europe...keep praying that Qwest gets out of their financial ills fairly well...

    Peace
