Ooh, Gaz... so close... saw the net ripple and thought it'd gone in.

    Thought Gaz had done it.

    This is a strange game.

Nani comes infield after a good move just now, and instaed of giving the ball to Valencia and getting intot he box, open ont he right wing, he cuts back into the middle and loses the ball.

    HT 0-0

Need to create more chances. Only decent ones I remember are Scholes' shot that bounced and Neville's effort.

Uneventful first half, both teams had good and bad spells.

    Half time.

Pretty much what you would expect given our cobbled together team, Fabio looking good. Valencia and Nani are there usual selves. Berbatov looking lazy and behaving like a stroppy kid whenever someone tries to find him (sure the balls ain't that good, but neither are your runs).

I know Berba has quality and can always get a goal, but would rather see Macheda in this role. Hope Berba makes me eat my words.

Nani is doing 2 things right and then f'ing with the 3rd.
    Valencia has been pathetic.
    Scholes has been good.
Fabio is doing well down the left wing.

There's no point in beating defenders if you're going to cock up the final ball every.single.time. I'd take Anderson off first, leave Nani on till the 60th and if he's still doing the same crap, put on Welbeck.

Well Man Utd. have gone to the left wing time and time again this match and Nani's been the most active player so far. Anderson hasn't done too much, wouldn't call him awful or anything though.

How can you even use the word dangerous after a half like that?

What was up with Valencia when he got the ball near the touchline and then running 20 metres back from the goal and completely ruined the moment.

Not sure if you are all taking the same commentary, anywyay, Geoff Shreeves (touchline reporter) on Sky is saying that the plan is to take Rio off in a few minutes as Fergie doesn't want to take any risks for Sunday. No reported injury for him.

Apparently he can only run in straight lines parallel to the sidelines.

i'm OK with that... do you think they will move O'Shea back and bring in Macheda or bring on Brown/Evans as a direct replacement?

They mentioned Wes was warming up at half time and are suggesting it will be him. Of course, they might be wrong.

Nani: Recieve ball, attempt to turn and lose it... after we kept the ball a while.

I dont think Im getting tired of seeing this cycle just yet...

Oh dear Berba; pathetic attempt at a dive there.

They score... but it's called offside, so phew! Very tight call from the linesman, but a good one.
