So we are playing 5 defenders ? When we signed Rafa ?
Or Valencia is playing infield ?

That is one ugly lineup, can't say I'm a fan of seeing Neville at rb against the likes of Krasic, and O'shea in the midfield. But hey, if he can get the job done, it's fine with me.

Was editing my post as you typed that. O'Shea's supposed to be in midfield.

O'Shea in the middle ? But why ? Why not give Gibson a go if SAF feels that Carrick cant be played or risked ?
Krasic plays RW so he will be against Fabio

    Interesting...

So Fergie is aware that we need a defensive midfielder.

    EDIT: Syed, Gibson is injured.

with what we have available to us, the lineup is fine. should still be enough to get three points i hope.

little over 30 minutes away... :)

Im confident, but how can you be so sure?

There best player is going to go head on with Oshea. Their 2nd best is going head on with Gary Neville.

i don't know... obviously nothing is for certain but i just have a good feeling. that's all.

Berbatov has been in great form. Nani needs to prove his worth and should do well today. Scholes has been having a great season so far... the pitch should help him with his ground passing. Anderson had been in good form too. VDS is back and Rio and Vidic are too. O'Shea provides some good height for us and our bench is good.

    :)

Krasic plays on the right and tends to drift in the middle, Neville won't be seeing much of him probably.

it's amazing how poor Nani is at crossing...most of the time.

this role Fabio has is interesting. he's quite taken to it early on.

Our movement is fine, we just have no one to kick the ball at the net.

Fabio has covered a ridiculous amount of ground on the left flank in 15 minutes.

Nani sometimes strikes me as the dumbest of the talented footballers. Some of his decisions are elementary mistakes. Like dribbling back into a crowd of players instead of releasing the ball.

Come on buddy, show us something.

he depresses me... i want him to do so well but i don't know if it will ever come off :(

i wouldn't mind seeing Macheda in the second half. we need someone making some good runs in the box. i think we can definitely get a goal here... decent effort from Scholes.

Nani has been good so far, yes the crosses not there yet, but he has already beat his man several times and shown some good link up play. Same can't be said for Valencia.

Why does Nani play so poorly for us?

Berbatov needs to adapt his style to the role he is playing tonight (polite way of saying show some effort). He ain't doing very well in this regard so far ...
