    Henry and Jenas!?!?

    Jenas? WTF?

Henry, OK. But the PFA Team had only one United Player - Scholes.

    Bollocks!

I think its like colleges rejecting valedictorians. They do it just to say the did.

Shearer's had a good season, but there's no question in my mind that Ruud has had a better one and deserves to be the striker along with Henry. I thought Dyer was a strange choice. I would have picked Kewell, Duff, or Robert for that spot.

BTW, my above comments were for the PFA team of the year, not the award for the players of the year (hadn't seen that story yet). Gotta agree with you - with John O'Shea available, Jenas is a questionable pick at best.

Now, who would you rather have as your left back, Cole or O'Shea? That's not even a contest as far as I'm concerned.

Nobody outside of New York votes for the Yankees for the All-Star Game. By the way, I hate the f'ing Yankees.

Yeah but this one is voted on by the players. Still its annoying that nearly half the team is Gunners. I don't want to say the other players have an anti-Man U bias, but its hard to see why RVN didn't make the team. If they are so good, how come their title defense is on life support?

Point of agreement, screw the Yankees. :D

Who cares about the team of the year? In 20 years time people will be able to say United won the EPL in 2003 coming from 8 points down. Noone will know who was in the team of the year!

you have to remember that the votes for this were cast over a month ago.

As much as I hate to admit it, before xmas arsenal had played some of the best football in England.
