I believe this is also a new weekly show on FSC. There was one on FSC last night under the same name with a really freaking hot Englishwoman hosting. Seems like the guy is doing the British version while the woman is doing the American version.
Here is FSC's info on the show. I don't know if they have any video of it uploaded. Host Natalie Pinkham: Turns out she is one of the birds the Prince got in trouble for groping last year.
Brilliant! I blinked and missed Jake's goal the first time, but the whole premise is a step in the right direction for the league. The quality of play in the highlights will impress even the eurosnobs... ..... probably.
Or perhaps the fact that the last place team in the MLS East drew against the top team in Scotland? Chicago 1, Celtic 1 (thanks to the brilliance of Blanco, wish the Rapids had him)!
Just wanted to say that the same day this thread was started I got the following e-mail: This isn't the first e-mail like this that I've gotten this season, but before this season I never got e-mails like that. Oh, well---but Brown fielded a few I think. Anyway, I wrote back to the guy and asked him if he had seen the show that this thread is about. We shall see how he replies. Also, I told him he should join us over here at BigSoccer, so perhaps we'll be seeing him around soon.
It's really meant to inform people on how the league is run, not so much because we care so much about what they think.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ........................... This show really bored me after the first three minutes-But hey----->"The MLS Championship Cup is the equivlent of the EPL title," and Danny Dichio played for EVERYONE over in the EPL??? Nice to see the CREW and Fire Jersey over to the right of the guy, cause the Crew and Fire are two of the most marketable clubs right now.... They should just give ALI G his own MLS show..... This can fill in for our fix of Anglo-centric snobs telling us what a joke MLS is while Nick and Stephen take the summer off of Fox Football Fone-in. His words say one thing, but between the lines his cheek is showing what he really thinks. I agree with his analysis of our commentators. They absolutely overanalyze every game and don't know how to just tell the damn story of the game.
Well, thanks to this thread and fhnkeeper03, Jake now knows he is on an English highlight show. As for the Brit who e-mailed me about his interest in the Rapids, the show in question has in fact played a role in his interest.
