What has Crouch done to be considered World Class. Rooney is better then him and he is not World Class yet.
Score a shitload of goals in a fairly short time. Not saying that makes him world class, per se, cause I don't believe he is. But it certainly keeps this thread from totally ridiculous
Aye, he has scored a lot of goals in the last 6 months. He's taken the burden of Gerrard in that sense, as this time last year it was Stevie scoring all the goals. But he still cannot be World Class yet... or perhaps ever(?)
Not saying he is world class, but if Klose, or Gilardino, or Trezeguet had Crouch's current stats domestically and internationally and was scoring goals like his second v Galatasaray, people would be nomiating them for WPY. If Crouch was from S America this would also be the case. But as he is a lanky Brit, he must, by definition, be a joke player with no technical skill, and only size and luck to help him score.

Crouch is tall and knows how to make other defences in havoc. Not only he has good header, he sometimes make good volley shots.

Oh dear. That is even more moronic than some of nicophoras's nonsense. John Terry is much better than Ferdinand and Lampard is definitely world class. As for Crouch, world class is a pretty meaningless term but he is a very talented player and would get in to any international sides squad as I've said before and totally stand by. Also his scissor kick against Galatasary alone shows how absurd it is that anyone still thinks he's crap. It showed superb technique and we may not see a better goal all season.
