"TORONTO (CP) - Days after being on the wrong end of what has been called the save of the century, Canadian striker Paul Peschisolido is still shaking his head."

Pesch finally speaks about why he hasn't been called up since the friendly versus Malta in 2001. Apparently, Holger hasn't even called him since the game.

There is a chance we could see Pesch called up for the friendly versus Germany. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a call up during WCQ because Canada could be playing 20 games.

If I was Holger, I would give Pesh a coaching role and give more opportunities to the likes of Hume, Canizalez, Budalic and Jordan against the smaller nations. They need to be given a chance to show their worth.

Do you mean Jason Jordan? According to todays World Football Pages (yeah I bought it, for some reason they keep mentioning me) Jordan showed up to training camp as they put it "he seemd to fit his jersey a bit too snugly". In other words he's out of shape again.
