on the most part autori ahs chosen players that are performing well in the apertura the only 4 that dont belong there are ibanes jose soto, jayo and salas all in all i like the squad who are the players to watch out for in venezuela are dudamel and cari cari noriega playing?
No, Dudamel isn't... he recently recovered from a long injury... and he isn't 100%... Cari-Cari will play, probably start. Watch out for Juan Arango... and when he links up with Urdaneta and Ricardo David Paez (or Giovanny Perez, if Paez doesn't play)...
Gilberto Angelucci (Táchira) Manuel Sanhouse (Espoli, ECU) Leonel Vielma y Ruberth Morán (UA Maracaibo) Francisco Campos, Leopoldo Jiménez, Wilfredo Alvarado, Daniel Noriega y Cristian Cásseres (Italchacao). Luis Vallenilla, Gabriel Urdaneta y Luis Vera (Caracas) Javier Villafraz, Ricardo Páez y Giovanny Pérez (Estudiantes) Juan García (Mineros) Juan Arango (Pachuca, MEX) Alejandro Cichero (Cerro, URU) José Manuel Rey y Jorge Rojas (Emelec, ECU). Angelucci; Vallenilla, Alvarado, Rey, Rojas (Vielma); Urdaneta, Vera, Jimenez, Paez (Perez); Arango; Cari-cari (Moran)
i really liked dudamel when he was fit id rate him top 5 south american keepers whatever happened to giovanni savarese? is your midfield quick? cause if it is jayo is going to get slaughtered
Dudamel is a great keeper, but injuries have gotten the best of him the past year. Savarese is no longer part of the team, actually he hasn't been playing at all... I think soon he'll retire. Actually, yes, very quick... so are our wingers and attackers... we just have to adjust some defensive problems we had vs Honduras.
crap dont like sound of that especially since rebosio is not playing hopefully autori goes for rodriguez to make up for soto lack of pace
yeah, but somehow I trust Peru will play well and it will be a good match... one we could both benefit from... How long has Autori been coach? and how many friendlies have you played this year?
autori has been in charge since january he has called several young players to blood into the team and for the most part he has been calling players that are on form interesting thing is solano has yet to play under autori so far 4 games won 2 5-1 haiti 3-0 chile lost 2 paraguay 0-1 chile 2-0 10 goals for 2 against
we beat venezuela 4-2, then we beat guatemala 2-0... after that peru go home and play a home-and-away against uruguay, winning in lima 1-0 and tying in uruguay 0-0... hopefully we hook up another game before las eliminatorias in sept... vamos peru que si se puede pue
Why is Peru playing such crap sides. boy o boy. they play Haiti + Guatemala + a B team for Chile...I would be very worried if I were Peruvian...what's going to happen whe you play Argentina, Paraguay, Colombia, Brazil, Uruguay...I think Autori is not doing a great job. This is not top level preparation and I think you'll suffer greatly because of it! ...your ranking is 80th, and beating Venezuela will prove what exactly?
You mean busy, with the Confed Cup, and Gold Cup, 2006 qualifyers, and Copa America next year, the man needs to put together a good team, or he is "dead". He was hoping for the game against Portugal, but that never happened.
you see Chaski, that's the problem right there...this isn't between you and me, I'm just making an observation that Peru will have a hard time with the sides they've been playing and all you can muster up is that Maturana is afraid?? makes no sense. Keep ignoring the issue and I'll be talking to you in 2008 about Peru trying to make the 2010 WC. You need to play a quality side that will improve your game, stregthen your team. If you beat Venezuela, what do you go away thinking? Peru is better then the #58 team in the world?? There is a deep problem in Peru football, or is there a reason why on top of not making it since 1982, that neither of 3 teams of the Peruvian sides that have gone to the Copa Libertadores have even passed the first round....
Peru has played Chile, Paraguay, and Ecuador, and will play 2 with Uruguay. Planned Colombia match fell through. Those are the teams Peru has to beat to qualify. As for beating Venezuela, if you think back far enough, you can remember what it was like.
