I really can't take any more of this... It's just too frustrating watching this team play when I know their true capabilities. No ********ING way they are supposed to be drawing this game, no way!

    Messi = shit tonight
Riquelme = Matador of pure class . Argentina's MOTM.

I'm not even going to say anything else about the rest of the team. Not worth my time. Good night.

And that's why you bring a right back as the last substitution but don't make him play on his position.

Battaglias job was to knock that guy on the ground not let him run half the field.

Me van a decir que Battaglia no le podia hacer un foul tactico 3 cuato de cancha en lo que hubiera sido el final del partido? Que pecho frio por DIOS.

Esta bien que nos pase lo que no esta pasando. No tenemos juego colectivo, no tenemos gol.Somos un desastre.Y ya se nos esta cabando la paciencia.Con los jugadores que tenemos no hay porque jugar asi sin ideas.

No voy a entrar en detalles porque estoy recaliente y voy a mandar a todos a la concha de sus madre.

are you absolutely crazy....riquelme was horrible, he was losing balls all over the place...he had that nice pass on the goal but other than that what did he do?

I am actually happy that the national team is eating dirt right now. They are total junk and dont deserve to win any of these games.

Maybe AFA will see how bad of a coach Basile is and make some changes. We are still in 3rd place in qualifying and this wakeup call could not have come at a better time.

Who cares if we even qualify for the World Cup in 2010, with this team playing this way we would get knocked out in the first round. Better lose now and make some changes to improve for the future.

Wow! That was painful to watch. It was a terrible game and the result was deserved.

Man of this match...Carrizo, he earned our 1 point.

As for Basile...If we don't close out the next round in October with a minimum 4 points (win+tie), he should be fired. We need to start building on performances, when in fact we have been regressing. Our defense is very suspect and does not instill any confidence. I'm not worried about our offence, that will work itself out. However, we aren't capable of stopping anyone!

I don't understand what Bataglia was doing on that play, just foul him.

I wouldn't throw all the blame to Battaglia. More should be pointed of why there were 2 RBs on the pitch and none of them playing that position.

Gago was the best, Riquelme and Messi played equally bad, for some reason Basile can't get them to play well together like Batista did in the olympic games.

You're blind, you obviously weren't paying attention to the game.
I suppose you think Messi was superb today and Gago was terrific.

Except for that blooper against Paraguay, i don't think the defense is much a trouble i think the issue is between the midfield and the forwards.

The blame falls on him.He had him,he was following him down the line they're playing in injury time, either you get the ball or you foul the player.Basics.

Unfortunately, Peru had half the team marking Messi and Riquelme!

Batista is no magician. Peru was a different animal tonight, and this is no U23 contest!

lol, everyone agrees with me. Riquelme was crap. Stop calling everyone else blind when you clearly are cornered and outnumbered... Again, Riquelme was TOTAL CRAP. Messi was also TOTAL CRAP, yes i said it. Gago, on the other hand, played great.

Right, the best thing Peru did today was how they marked Messi pretty well.

I don't think Batista is a magician either, but i think with fewer experience on national teams than Basile he knew how to handle players like that.

Oh by the way, did anyone notice how some of the players went right to celebrate the goal with Heinze?
