Don Carlo Ancelotti and Luka Modric. Man, it's hitting quite hard that they're gonna be gone in 2 days or in Luka's case after the CWC. They're the classiest people in football and absolute legends of the game. It's hard to imagine a better personality in football than these two. Real Madrid and its fans are truly blessed to have witnessed them.
One of the things about Real Madrid is no matter who is leaving or what era is coming to an end, there is always something new to look forward to and be excited about. That being said, it'll be hard not to feel at least a little bit emotional when we play Sociedad on Saturday.
Carlo, it was a pleasure. You are the most decorated coach in Real Madrid history and you deserve it. We will never forget all the victories you helped us achieve and your brilliant character. You were both a respected gentleman on the sidelines and off of it. Wish you all the success in your future. Thank you legend!
There is a twist of irony here that players like Jude, Vinny ect…. are all thanking Carlo on IG but yet didn’t rise to the occasion or put in the necessary effort at times to save his job.
of course not. I find irony in the fact that some of these players looked absolutely arsed to run or give effort at times, yet lament Carlo leaving. It’s just the public nature of it. Generationally, I’m not a fan of false effusive praise.
Maybe because the players know, like everyone else who's been paying attention, that it's anyone but Carlo's fault for the way the season turned out and he's accepting the blame in true martyr style. Everyone accept of course Flo's PR team driven media campaigns which as a rule never make any admission of error by the President or club.
🚨 Fede Valverde to Carlo Ancelotti:“Lately, goodbyes have been hard, and this one won’t be an exception.Over all these years, you built my confidence and guided my character. With you in charge, I learned that it’s not enough to have just a formal coach/player relationship,… pic.twitter.com/rfLgJBuq5L— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) May 24, 2025 “I’m immensely grateful. You turned this locker room into a family, and I discovered a side of me I didn’t know existed. I’m a full-back now. “ Lol
Pains me to see Carlo leave the club. Along with Zidane he’s been the perfect manager for us. There’s only one person in the world who holds the record for most trophies won with the biggest club in the world and that’s him. He’s been such a great Madridista. He has his critics but most of the shit that goes his way is not merited. we can say that he’s as big a Real Madrid legend as he is a Milan legend and that’s astonishing for anyone in the game. I already miss him to be honest. What a privilege to have had Carlo lead the club to so much success. Farewell legend. Hope to see you back here again.
He could barely speak he was so emotional. Gonna miss this guy a lot. He brought such calm to class to the club. Mr. Cool
He'd turn from a simple legendary manager into an mythic unique one But yeah, it would be crazy seeing him lift the WC with Brazil,
