Oh so it was his results in the big games that got him sacked, thanks, good to know.

Ofc he's no Carlo and is not going to be a long term solution,

but Solari caretaking for the rest of the season might not be too bad.

Haven't really seen or heard anything about Carlo losing his job. Whenever the idea is being entertained, it's getting floated to the press from inside early to see if it grows roots with the public.

    I think Carlo is safe

As unpopular and counterintuitive as it is (and people here emphasized it over and over as they replied to my posts), the silverware in the previous years was a bit of a mirage, masking the major issue with this group, and that is precisely that, that its a group, and not a team. These supremely talented individual players all play within themselves, there is very little support for each other, practically zero sync, no synergy, no identity, and that is on the coach plain and simple. It will not make my memory of Carlo any less positive, but I'm really really looking forward to his departure at this point.

You have inner real Madrid contacts that leak you info? ;)
Carlo will not coach in 2025 if the slump continues.
It's super easy for Perez to fire a coach in order to mask the biggest signing failure he made in his career.
Also, to be honest, a coach that starts a 40 years old modric over cabbellos is an idiot.
Carlo is a players coach, encouraging the players, friend of them, he was never a tactician, and now when things are not working, when many are injured, he is clueless on how to solve things. At this point he is the wrong coach for this team.

His job is absolutely on the line in these remaining few games in 2024.

His job is safe.....? Which job that of an a coach? A coach is supposed to coach the team ,he is supposed to make working tactics, prepare the team for the opponent they are going to face ....fix what doenst work, motivate the players ,make the right subs so the team can win and avoid injuries to an important players

Carlo is doing nothing of that,,he is basically not doing his job at all.....him being here or not doesnt matter at this point HE IS DOING NOTHING at his workplace

Carlo had a trainer in his 70s then. RM also wanted him to change the trainer after 2014-15 season. Carlo refused and that was believed to be one of the reasons he got sacked.

Though Carlo recently said he got sacked because he asked for more money. That'd be crazy after a season where Barca won the trouble. Anyways, Carlo's trainer retired after Bayern stint. RM paired Pintus with Carlo in 2021 as Pintus was available after Conte quit Inter job.

What I've seen on the pitch is more than enough for me to want him out.

    I don't believe so.

I think the club already has Xabi lined up for next season and will let Carlo finish of his last season

Last season he did solve, and did it quite quickly, the issue of carving up a suitable formation after losing Benzema and not getting a replacement. I don't think he is a poor tactician and it remains to be seen whether some of our purportedly supremely talented individuals actually turn up to live up to the expectation. I have a feeling that some of them actually looked better playing in Madrid than they would have had they played elsewhere.

We will see. Either way it is clear this is his last season.

We need a much harder working team with everyone fighting for each other.

We need a LOT more movement off the ball offensively.

That is all on Carlo. He needs to step it up big time.

    Back to f*cking basics.

We are apparently the least run team in the CL. Well the eye test also confirms it. No off the ball movements and no pressing.

Ancelotti is a legend but like we moved on from Casillas and Ramos we need fresh ideas.

People talk as if anything has fundamentally changed about Carlo or his tactics since he joined us in 2021 but the reality is that it hasn't, only the playing personnel has changed.
The same flaws have existed since day 1 except the playing personnel could somehow make it work in the past, they even pulled off some miracles at times.

    I agree.

Carlo would have to have a massive string of bad results to get the boot.

I'm extremely critical of him right now but we are only 4 points behind with a game in hand in the league. I wouldn't be shocked if/when we take over the leaderboard at some point this season.

At the moment his replacement would be set up for total failure. I've seen nothing that convinces me to not give him the full season.

Carlo Ancelotti & Florentino Pérez will have a face-to-face meeting before Getafe’s match.

They will share their opinions regarding the work that is being done and how high the level of trust is. @jfelixdiaz

The only good thing about these losses is how funny it is to see you miserable and angry.

I'm not downplaying his achievements but he's been lucky to have inherited some really great squads in both Milan, Bayern and Real Madrid.
