Noticed this immediately. Looks like Carletto lost weight.

I bet he's got that hunger to win. But hey, so did Hazard and the man just took things too far.

I like the sound of this, been a while since we've seen this team play good football, there were glimpses here and there.

A very different philosophy from "we must suffer".

Being able to suffer is a very good quality, especially in cup competitions, it's why we won our last CL but it should not be the norm, we should be playing well in the majority of our games and suffer in very few.

Being able to suffer made us a near unstoppable team. Don't forget that before "being able to suffer" we sometimes folded like a wet paper bag.

Yeah that la decima team was famous for giving up and not fighting until the 94th minute.

It’s almost as if defending a lead is different than chasing a game.

Everybody suffered when Mou was here players, fans, opposing teams. Even assistant coaches needed protective goggles in case of an attempted eye gouging. Maybe we should just repeat that for all the masochists. Lol.

Wonder what that means though. Mendy at CB and Alaba at LB? Mendy as a back up CB?

If I'm the club, I'm trying to find time for Miguel. I'd put Mendy as a 3 CB, platoon Marcelo and Miguel, and play Mendy or Alaba at LB in big games.

Perhaps the club wasn't banking on both Ramos and Varane leaving this summer, and promised Alaba significant minutes in midfield.

Alaba said he will play wherever the coach wants him to. I doubt club saw Alaba getting significant minutes in midfield if KCM and Fede stays fit.

Either way, knowing Carlos, he'll probably push for Mendy to play at CB.

Fake news by Marca. As you said he already stated he just wants to play and I believe we're smart enough to find a place for him.

For me it would be LB or CB, so we can bring in Camavinga and have him with Valverde, Casemiro, Kroos, Modric and Blanco.

Camavinga did not even play at the EURO’s. Where are these rumors that we after him coming from?

We are lucky to have a player like Alaba who can play three positions. Knowing our injury record there will always be a spot open in midfield. I rather have him play there instead of Isco ..

Why's that? He seems to be one of the few that write about us without any ire.
