As clueless is my middle name, can anyone explain to me

    1. value of rep points?
can you trade them in for a prize or something?

    2. Is there a goal you want to atain, or is it to try to get as high as possible

    3. How do you actually give these?

Exactly. Just close the rep threads down. Yellow card everyone who starts one up, personal forum or public forum.

    no

you just try to get as high as possible. the amount of green nipples stop being added on when you have a lot though.
you click on the balance and you can either give someone positive rep or negative rep. you can also write a comment on why you rep'd them

No. The system gets reset because people have to go around threads repping each other until the amount of green nipples is longer than their wang.

Rep points SHOULD mean a poster's value to BigSoccer and if a post is generally worth reading. However, the numbskulls who jerk it around like a 10 cent whore abuse this feature to a laughing point.

No, no prize, goal, etc. other than inflated egos for some people.

Give it by clicking the scale at the bottom left of each post. If it's good or bad, you can give appropriate rep. The more you have = the more you effect others.

Since I hadn't been delighting anyone recently, my rep hit is probably the biggest of you all: 1348 to 116.

But at least I am on a distinguished road. Which, once again, beins with a single step ;)

thats the way it should be. HUSS is it possible to keep the nipples you earn. you can still clear the points out and lower the rep value while still maintaining what you have earned. I feel like I just got demoted two nipples and I have been a good trooper!!!

I dont post that often but I used to have 700 rep points, now I only have 165 and I honestly dont care.

Rep doesent mean anything, and only sad individuals with no lives worry about that kind of stuff. Take you for an example, you have so many nipples but im 100 percent postive I know about about the history of the game and have a greater understanding of the world game today.

I read everyones posts and give everyone a chance to express their opinions. I would never take some person who gets all their rep from the politics forum or FFA more seriously as a newbie with a red rep. I suggest you fallow my lead.

Would you be one of those people? Why else would you care?

Too bad, I know I was starting to pick up steam aswell (legitimately) What Huss should do is close down those rep whores unite threads, can't think of anything sadder then that thread, especially when certain posters there go on and tell other poster's that they don't really care about reps. Most hypocritical crap on BS.

True. But it´s nice to feel appreciated sometimes. One thing I never, ever do is neg rep someone. No matter how bad or insulting or racist etc. the person is. Not even If I get neg repped. It´s stupid and anoying. The powers at be should consider eliminating that option.

Just scrap the rep system already. It was meant to fail from the beginning.

3000-somethingish (I dunno, it was over 3 grand somewhere) to 316.

    I accumulate slowly.

    Oh well.

    Well...we must move on....

Think of it this way...less rep is not always a bad thing...

Just ask my Girlfriend from the old country....she had alot of rep and it didn't get her anywhere:D

As Joan Jett would say "I don't give a damn about my bad reputation"

YES! Actually, it works just like "SkeeBall" at the arcade, or Chucky Cheese's; you get a ticket for every 100 points, and if you get 400,000 tickets you can trade them in for small, easily breakable plastic objects. Or gum.

Unfortunately, the goal of WAY TOO MANY people on BigSoccer is to get "as high as possible". I mean, have you read some of the stuff around here lately? Such incomprehensible drivel and mindless twaddle I have never....what?....Oh, that was a REP question too? Heh. Sorry.

It's kind of like with sausages: you really don't want to know.
