    Congrats to Ronnie and Wade!!!

    But...

    Richard done been robbed!!! Robbed!!!

And he must live with Joey, cuz Joey's award ain't on the mantle either. Losing out to Timmy Howard?!!! And this coming from the girl who said the best damn gk in the league was right in front of me when I saw Timmy. But seriously, Joey deserved this WAY more than Timmy.

I saw it, too, sjqf, and agree: Ronnie and Wade being selected is deserving of congrats. There were a couple I saw that stuck in my craw. NE! Shut that damned Fish down!

Fish's goal wins the Goal of the Year.

Joe wins the GKOTY and isn't on the best 11 squad.

What the **** is MLS trying to pull!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Some compensation to the Metros for sucking or what?!

I'm with I Blead Teal...how can the goalie of the year NOT be on the best 11...now that is the mpst ridiculous thing I've heard in a while...

Well, these affords are becoming a farce with Ruiz GOTY (although I can't stand Ruiz I can;t argue with the MVP, because with out him the Scum would have been last in the league by a mile) and now this...

BUT at least Ronnie finally got national recognistion of what we have been saying all year.

Aye, Richard, ye spaketh the truth! Excellent point about Ruiz, because without him the Galacterrhoids would have been bottom feeders this year. I also agree with you and IBT: Joe should have gotten that best 11.
Jay Hipps has an article at http://www.cybersoccernews.com in which he says that the Revs are the Quakes of 2002 and will beat the Scum. Let's hope he's got it right.

Agreed 100%. How is someone the "keeper of the year" and NOT one of the "top XI?"

Since I haven't seen Beerking's standard rant on this yet, I'll do it for him: *^&%^#! candyass liberals, who think that awards should be spread out among candidates so that everyone gets warm fuzzies. "Let's see...we gave keeper of the year to Cannon, so let's make the goalie on the top XI someone else so that no one's feelings get hurt and so that everyone feels included." Barf. I didn't know they let soccer moms on the awards committee.

Wait a minute...I thought Richard & Ronnie were a paired entry? Like horseracing...bet one, get both?

It has certainly been proven over the last two seasons that one without the other isn't nearly as effective.

Interesting that none of the WC players were included - including Galaxy captain Cobi.

HAHA!! That was exactly my thought when I first read the Best XI. How can you possibly have Ronnie without Richie? How would that work? :D

yeah as for goal of the year, everyone that I talked to this weekend said it should have been Ekelund's. Even Rob Stone said so at the awards ceremony after Ruiz accepted the award. He said I still think it should have gone to Ronnie. My thoughts exactly.

Well, I agreed with you about Craig. But Fish is just a punk who just grates on my nerves for some reason. I really don't like him.

Of course, I don't know him personally. But he just really bugs me!!!
