No doubt, they’ve long needed a proper clear out and reset and they’ll probably never do it.

I reckon Potter will do well there as long as they afforded him as much time as they afforded Ten Hag that is.

Am I reading this wrong or did all of Real Madrid, despite winning coach and team of the year, skip the Ballon ceremony because Vinicius didn’t win it?

Real Madrid is the most vile club on the planet, closely followed by Barcelona. Madrid spent 80 years spending their way to success but now they don't like it that 'other' clubs have money too, Barcelona not only did their own version of outspending (to the point that they are now in financial meltdown) they also bribed who they could to ensure results. The 'superleague' idea was driven by those greedy ***** as a way to try and ensure that in future they remain the only clubs with the money, the fact that they have childishly thrown the toys out the pram because 'their boy' wasn't going to be given the top prize is of no surprise to me.............I honestly couldn't care less if they were expelled from UEFA competition or better still went bust. Madrid and Barcelona's greed in the Spanish game has ultimately been detrimental to the Spanish football league which has basically turned into the Scottish League with more money, you have to ask yourself why a league that is so full of great club teams doesn't get offered the broadcast money other leagues get offered? Who wants to watch a league where the same 2 clubs finish at the top for 100 years (see Scotland) because they take more of the share of the spoils than the other clubs?

Vile they are..........in fact if I ever see somebody in a Madrid or Barcelona shirt I might have to punch them! :-D (joking of course......)

    Rant over! :)

So far a London Club has 2 goals from Chelsea-ex center-backs, we have Badiashile and Disaasi and an early cup exit.

I was watching a snippet preview of Zola-Palmer masterclass special. Zola admonished Palmer to practice free-kicks (something he doesn't do after training).

In the Vialli diaries (98-99 season), I read Zola would do 50 fks after each practice. He broke many dummy walls.

Wow pep and city in 22nd in CL, 1 pt away from being out. Were Alvarez and Rodri that good? I do think Rodri was a deserving winner of the Balloon de Or, those types too rarely get the credit they deserve and Alvarez doing it for Atletico now was more valuable a key cog than was credited last season or shown in the stats.

Or like in Independence Day did someone figure the trick to bringing pep down and Morse code it around the world.

Rodri was that important but Kovacic being out doesn’t help and wtf happened to Foden. That’s been the toughest pill for them. Silva and KDB are still class but need to be able to slack off at times with their age. Foden, hasn’t given them that chance this year.

If Wolves go down and it’s looking like they will at this rate, Cunha is going to make a team very happy. Wonder what he’s going to go for.

Mason Mount goes off injured. He hasn't completed 90 minutes in the league since Jan of 23 when he was playing with us

Man Citeh - so dull - and Man U so ordinary - neither of these teams look like a top 4 team.

Could Pep get fired? He seems lost. Maybe the extension was his safety net (tho I’m sure he has more money than god).

Only if he wants to be fired. They wouldn’t dare otherwise. Not with what he’s achieved for them.

He does seem lost and in his interviews he admits he doesn't have a clue. My guess if it got really bad he would quit. But with the players he has in his squad - literally has some of the best players in the world - he should be able to make a top 4 pretty easily.

This is an exaggerated version of a familiar Pep story - the magic wears off, and he becomes a whiny excuse machine.

We don't have a big enough squad, we don't have enough income (lol), no one could cope with the injuries we have blah blah blah

With Messi and co. at Barcelona virtually anyone could have managed to win things. And with his Citeh team he has THE best striker in the world. IF Chelsera had Haaland right now we'd be top of the league easily. He also has Gvaridol, KDB, Foden, etc. etc. etc. But y'know the injury crisis of not having Rodri fit. . . its just really unfair.
