Spurs are in trouble. And with City likely missing the UCL next year things got interesting (Don’t see them getting 2 years but they’ll get 1). They won’t drop out of the top 4. So the 5th spot should be UCL and if an English teams wins it then so would the 6th. We got a little more secure but we aren’t deserving of a UCL spot right now but our lives and Man U just got easier. Will Sheffield or Wolves manage to sneak in?

Even Club Brugge manages a draw vs United while we have 3 losses....

Crazy to see him get hit so hard with injuries. Would like to see him do well for himself there.

Man, the Leicester/Man City game was a good one. Wide open and back and forth. I kept trying to nap in the second half, but it was too engrossing. Brendan Rodgers is squeezing everything possible out of the talent on the team. Have to say, tho, the more I see from Chillwell, the less interested I become.

Methinks we sold him at the right time.

If there's anything I learned from the Shevchenko signing, if a club is willing to sell their attacking star/talisman, who happens to be in their late 20s, even for a high fee, back away, quickly.

Based on age alone, I agree.. 30 in January. Also a player who is reliant on his explosiveness and apparently doesn’t like to train/keep up his conditioning... not a good mix. We did well to get that fee for him, bring in Pulisic and hopefully have Sancho coming in the summer.

That being said, I do hope he comes out of a tough season stronger and has at least a couple good years at Madrid. He’s a joy to watch.

Pretty much Shevchenko when we bought him. Record fee, pushing 30, and he traded speed for strength.

Let's hope Pul is played more when he comes back.

Feel sad for Hazard. Really wanted him to succeed. Unlike some players who leave us, case in point the other snake at Madrid. He was always a professional and genuinely loved us. Hope he comes back stronger in his 2nd season.

I wish he scored a hat trick in every game that he played for Real as long as it was a 4-3 loss. It’s unfortunate that he’s injured tho. Wish him good health.

City have turned it around at Real. 2-1 up now, Jesus and (the false) KDB.

If the Madrid Globetrotters get knocked out by an English club then UEFA will be looking to do something about it! They will have to think of a way to disqualify City and Scouse!

Sarri's Juventus beaten in France. Juve still in it. But that was a decent result for the French side. I wonder what will happen when Sarri doesn't win a trophy this year.

At least we are getting knocked out of a quality tournament by a quality team. Less so Arsenal haha

Amazing goal for auba followed by an even worse miss at the death.
