    Aston Villa will bid for Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant in January, says the Daily Mirror. They put a price of £1.5m on the England Under-21 international, while the Daily Express say it will be closer to £1m. Pennant's Gunners contract runs out next summer - which explains the cut-price cost of the winger.

    Good deal for pennant .
    He never gets a chance at arsenal so its time to move on .
