PSU have 7 teams from the NCAA Tournament Field. NCAA National Champion UCLA along with NCAA Final 4 participant Maryland. Big East Champion and NCAA Quarterfinalist Boston College. NCAA 3rd round and perenial powerhouse Indiana, whom Nittany Lions may have to play twice. Tack on Bradley, Akron and Lehigh whom were all in the tournament. Cal. State Fullerton and the Big Ten schedule will prove to be a major contest as the B10 was ranked #3 0r #4 (can't remember) in conference power rankings. Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State all proved to be major contenders for the field of 48 last year and all just missed the tournament.
