Happy New Year. Let's Go State! One new signing announced recently: ... to be added to this group of seven new Nittany Lions who signed back in November, as detailed in this article: https://gopsusports.com/news/2018/1...n-to-2019-roster-in-early-signing-period.aspx
He signed a pro deal with Bethlehem Steel FC. https://www.philadelphiaunion.com/post/2019/01/23/bethlehem-steel-fc-signs-defender-ben-ofeimu In general though, this seems like a really good class. It's better than any class that Warming was able to put together and doesn't seem to focus on transfers.
Just for fun (I guess), Christian Pulisic says he perhaps would have gone to Penn State if he went to college ... woulda coulda etc. 🗣 WE AREIf @cpulisic_10 went to college, it would have been Penn State 🦁@GoPSUsports #WeAre 🔵⚪️ pic.twitter.com/Hpa1TUknIq— Chelsea FC USA (@ChelseaFCinUSA) July 22, 2019
Arguably Penn State's two best returning players, Ethan Beckford and Jeremy Rafanello, have signed professional contracts to play in Europe. https://gopsusports.com/news/2019/8...ursue-professional-playing-opportunities.aspx
Excited for the season to begin!! Let's go State!! Despite losing Beckford and Rafa, there are some awesome recruits. Let the games begin.....
Nittany Lions back in action a couple of days ago in a scrimmage vs. the Georgetown Hoyas. Jeffery Field's pitch looking good. Let's go State!
A few goal and save highlights from Penn State's away win over Stetson last Sunday. In the first game of the PSU road trip to Florida, The Nittany Lions tied then #15 ranked UCF, 2-2. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1186676011535036

Video linked below, from a couple of weeks ago, is of the Penn State Soccer 1954 and 1955 National Championship teams (this was a few years before NCAA soccer championships began; these 1954 and 1955 championships were awarded by the Intercollegiate Soccer Football Association). The return to these teams to State's Jeffrey Field marked their 65th anniversary. Seeing these great gentlemen and champions return home reminded me of a couple lines from the book / movie, Chariots of Fire: "... with hope in our hearts and wings on our heals" ... "we ran them off their feet ... " Also an article about these teams: https://gopsusports.com/news/2019/10/4/blue-and-white-connecting-generations.aspx?path=msoc
Interview with Penn State's coach Jeff Cook on the Nittany Lions' first B1G Tourney game coming up this Sunday vs. the Badgers. (And some pretty nice highlights from the season too.) Let's Go 1 and O, State! https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=460229214849956

I am happy that the seniors have had the opportunity to enjoy a successful season this year! Also...Aaron Molloy is an amazing player!! Does anyone know if the GK is graduating or staying for his senior year/
I know the freshman has been playing a lot, but I also heard that he broke his finger in the first half of the Michigan game. I guess that's the upside of having 2 good GKs!
