It sounds like it's put through a mixer, so the pitch is higher. Eddie sounds somewhat like a chipmunk (but not that high).
I thought Lost Dogs was supposed to have all the B sides but I don't see Leatherman on there. Also I heard a rumor that the Layne Stayley song will be a hidden track on there is this true ?
Song 4/20/02 is a hidden track. It gets the title from the same day Layne's body was found. Apparently it takes a lot of swings at people who tried to impersonate him??? leatherman..hmmm, that's right.. where is it? I guess they wanted more "rare" songs, maybe? You can get leatherman off any number of live cds, but some of the songs on Lost Dogs aren't even played live.
Rumor pit... Bump. 2 hour version of DVD on DirecTV only, all throughout December. There are plans to release "Lost Dogs" on vinyl. Spin that black circle. New movie "Big Fish" coming this holiday season. New song on it "Man of the Hour" by Pearl Jam, cd single at www.pearljam.com. B-side is original demo with Ed playing guitar. Movie has Tim Burton's name attached, and the soundtrack comes out on December 23. However, Pearl Jam's single can be obtained on www.pearljam.com earlier. 11/25 is the cut-off date for the holiday single. They're going through recent show tapes now! Live at the Garden will be DVD only, and it'll be clearer than TB2K. New Rockfords (Mike's side band) LP and a few shows in Seattle. Boom is playing with Pearl Jam for now. Band likes to knit and origami on the plane. Some of the older designs might come back for 10C stuff, but it looks like the stickman will remain in hiding. Band enters the studio in 2004.
