Are any MLS teams going to participate in the 2007 Peace Cup in Korea? LA Galaxy played in the 2003 version. It looks like it is held in July and, based on the dates of the last competition, will be in the July 13-22 time period (which is over the MLS All Star game on 7/19). The only ones that would seem to work are Chicago and LAG. The Fire play 7/12 and then not again until 7/29. The Galaxy play on 7/7 and then not again until 7/24 (in SulerLiga). Has anyone herd anything?
Hmm.. meaningless Cup.....herd... Sounds like a job for the Red Bulls. If they win it can go alongside the La Manga Cup.
MEANINGLESS?? Nothing put together by the guy who was crowned "Messiah" can be called meaningless. Tried to bring up the Moon angle back in 2003 to Galaxy fans, but got basically zero response. International exposure is international exposure, apparently, no matter what type of miscreant runs the event.

It was a good tournament, and it's one of the biggest tournaments in Korea. I got to watch PSV there 2 years ago in Daegu. LA Galaxy was in the tournament, too. They should go for 2008.
