Why should you download this patch?
    - It is a separate installation so does not affect your other patches
    - Small download, and only takes up 1.5gb of space on your computer
    - This patch does not conflict with any others you might have installed - so why not give it a try?

    Features:
    - Fully updated MLS rosters and accurate formations up to 22nd August
    - Each team and nation is fully licensed with their kits and numbers, and HD logos for each team
    - The only patch to contain Canada as a fully playable nation in International Challenge and in other gamemodes
    - Mexican and USA National Teams also updated to their 2007 Gold Cup squads
    - Menus by www.soccer-art.co.uk
    - Realistic "ESPN MLS Primetime" scoreboard for all matches
    - Banners specific to each team
    - Also contains Pachuca, Club America, Morelia and C.D. Guadalajara so that Superliga 2007 can be fully re-created
    - Every MLS player has their correct, real-life boots assigned to them in-game
    - Comes with the Adidas MLS Teamgeist + Houston Dynamo "MLS Winner" Teamgeist footballs
    - Packaged with a small select group of stadiums to decrease file-size, see below to find out where you can download many more. The Stadiums in the default patch include Giants Stadium and Estadio Azteca
    - And more!

    Future Updates:
This is not the end of the patch though, there are many more things that are planned to be released in updates once they are completed!
    - MLS Stadiums. I know that Home Depot Center, BMO Field, Toyota Park and Reliant Stadium are all in some stage of being made
    - Fox Soccer Channel Scoreboard to go along with the ESPN scoreboard
    - Updated bootlists
    - Updated Rosters

I do lots of patching for PES6, so will be able to help people install it on here who have no experience of how to

If theres enough interest in it I will post the download links heres and easy instructions to install it

Really sorry but its not possible to convert to PS2 because its actually a patch, not an option file

PS2 patching involves having an illegal PS2 and burning illegal copies of the game - plus all the stuff that makes the PC patch work can't be done on the PS2 :(

(In short the PC patch uses an application that runs along with PES, and the PS2 cannot do that)

I don't know if it works for WE PES 2007 as I don't own it

I can post the links though, and the instructions for installing it on PES6?

This is awesome! I've been waiting for a patch like this for a really long time. Just a few questions though. Will there be updated faces for every player? Also, should I wait for the all the updates to be finished first before I start a new league, or will downloading future updates also update my league?

Thanks in advance for working on this.

It does. The faces wouldn't necessarily match up (WE 2007 has more stock player faces) but that's fixable.

Download all 3 of these files:

    http://files.filefront.com/MLS+Patch+2007+v10rar/;8378403;;/fileinfo.html (222mb)
    http://files.filefront.com/MLS+Installerrar/;8385771;;/fileinfo.html (56kb)
    http://files.filefront.com/Fixed+Settingsexerar/;8391359;;/fileinfo.html (170kb)

    1. Open the MLS_Patch_2007.rar fie in WinRAR
    2. Navigate to your C:\Documents and Settings\[Username] Folder
(Where username = your windows user, eg. Mark)
    3. Drag the "My Documents" folder from the MLS_Patch_2007.rar file into C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]

    4. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Konami
    5. Drag the "MLS 2007 Patch" folder from the MLS_Patch_2007.rar file into C:\Program Files\Konami

    6. Find your original installation of Pro Evolution Soccer 6, most likely this will be at C:\Program Files\Konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 6
    7. Open the dat folder (C:\Program Files\Konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\dat)
    8. Highlight:
    - 0_text.afs
    - 0_sound.afs
    - e_sound.afs
    And right click, click Copy
    9. Navigate back to C:\Program Files\Konami and open the MLS 2007 Patch folder
    10. Find the dat folder inside this folder (C:\Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch\dat)
    11. Paste the 3 files that were copied into this dat folder.

    12. In the C:\Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch\dat folder, you should find a file called "0_textpatch.dkz"
If you do not already have "DKZ Studio", you can download it here:
    http://www.dekazeta.net/index.php?act=dscript&CODE=showdetails&f_id=117
    13. Open the 0_textpatch.dkz file in DKZ Studio
    14. On the toolbar, choose Patch --> Apply Patch in Folder
(If you have the Spanish version it is Parche --> Applicar Parche en Carpeta)
    15. Find the C:\Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch\dat folder in the folder tree that comes up, and select it.
    16. DKZ Studio may then ask you to choose the exact file, if it does select the 0_text.afs file
    17. The program should apply the patch automatically.
    18. Click the save button to save the 0_text.afs. Close DKZ Studio.

    19. Navigate back to your C:\Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch\dat folder in Windows Explorer
    20. Rename the following files to the name given afterwards:
    0_text.afs --> 0t_mls.afs
    0_sound.afs --> 0s_mlsp.afs
    e_sound.afs --> Ss_mlsp.afs

    21. Open the MLS Installer.rar file Double-click the MLS Patch Installer.exe, install it to C:\Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch\

    22. Open the "Fixed Settingsexe.rar" file.
    23. Go to Program Files\Konami\MLS 2007 Patch and replace the current settings.exe with the one you inside the .rar

    24. That's it! The game should now be ready to run, so go up a folder and click the PMLS.exe to run the game.

I'm not sure if this will work with WEPES2007 at all :(

The only thing I can do is try it and see if it works. KitServer, the Superpatch over at PESfan, and PES-related patches all work just fine on my version of WE2007. Like I said, there's going to be some differences between the two versions of the game that will require some tweaking, but I know that. I guess I'll find out soon enough. I was actually thinking of doing something like this only with MLS, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.

I keep backups of original files for any programs I tinker around with so that if stuff doesn't work I can revert things without having to un-install and re-install.

You are, in a word, awesome :D

Just downloaded everything and it's awesome. But I actually just want to use Toronto FC in my original game with all the other league teams. If I wanted to do that, how will I go about in extracting just the TFC updates into the original game... or if that's possible at all? Thanks for the update once again.

Ok, I think the thing you might need to do is at least rename the option file to the WE2007 standard (just copy the name of the current WE2007 option file)

You might also need to use the WE2007 .exe, if you do then I will need to change some things with it so that it points to the right folders.

It can be done, but its very complicated if you haven't done any editing before

I would suggest the first step would be to download this program called PESFan Editor that allows you to edit rosters:
    http://www.purplehaze.eclipse.co.uk/downloads.html

Start PESFan editor, and choose to open your default PES6 Option File. This can be found in my documents\konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 6

On the top toolbar, click File -> Open OF2. Choose the MLS option file to load.

In PESFan Editor, there are two screens of teams. On the left team, select a replaceable team. Double-click the 1st player, and it will open his stats. At the bottom of the window, choose the "Import from OF2" option. You should then choose the first TFC player and it will import him over the current player.

Repeat this for all the players, and then all you have to do is correct the numbers and formation :)

Once you've done this step, I can then help you put the kits and logos in

Hey Mark, would you mind helping me out with this part? I did the rosters part, now I want to get the kits and logos in. Thanks, much appreciated! :)

    Kits
Ok, so the first step is to have kitserver installed.

If you have it already, skip this part...

    Download kitserver here:
    http://downloads.gamingaccess.com/index.php?file_id=10927
Read through the manual, making sure you understand how the program works, then install it

Now, you should have downloaded the full patch, so open the MLS Patch 2007.rar file.
Go through the folders until you find the MLS teams kitserver folders (MLS Patch 2007 -> mlspkserv -> GDB -> uni -> MLS)

Drag these into your own kitserver GDB folder.
Edit your kitserver map.txt so that the teams you have replaced link to the kits, if you have read the manual you will understand that you need to find the teams specific IDs, and use the correct syntax

    Kits should now work :)

    Logos

For this, could you tell me if you have any other patches or scoreboards installed that would affect the logos? :) ie. Do you have the shiny logos in your game?

I have the SuperPatch installed, and that's it. No scoreboard patches or anything else. BTW, what about the team names ingame? Can you edit them for it to say LA Galaxy for example? Thanks alot for your help Mark, I really appreciate this! :)

You can edit team names with PESFan editor :)

Bit unsure about the logos, so would you be able to do the following? :)
    - Download Game Graphic Studio:
    http://downloads.gamingaccess.com/index.php?file_id=4198
    - Open the 0_text.afs with it
    - Export the unknow_535.bin and unknow_536.bin
    - Upload them

I'll then be able to do the pallete stuff for you :)

Are you sure these are from the superpatch files? They've just got the default logos in them

There from the SuperPatch, yes. However, your right, ingame, it's still default logos, not the real ones.
