I guess we need one of these. It's raining like crazy down there, but the game should be on. Game time is 9:30 our time.

My best friend is living down in San Jose right now and will be heading to the game and cheering on the Revs (although he'll probably be the only one). He will write me later a thorough report about the game, which I will copy and paste for everyone's pleasure - or displeasure, if they lose again as badly as Round 1.

You mean bad field conditions are a legitimate reason not to play a match ?????????

    ;)

It went a little fast for me, but here's most of our starting lineup.

    Brown
    Pierce - Kante - Joseph - Franchino
    Ralston - Hernandez - Cullen - Noonan
    Twellman - Harris

Llamosa is on the bench, not sure about JMM.

    *edited to supply 4th defender*

Don't worry, none of the MLS teams have gotten a red card doing their home matches.

Noonan wins a fk about 45 yards out. DH takes, goes out to LD.

LD gets free on a counter, but they are offside.

Possession mostly to the Revs right now. Trying more attacks down the left side then this weekend. Noonan is getting a lot of touches down the wing.

Brown GK to Noonan down left wing. Wins a throw in. JF throws in to Noonan, back to JF, crosses to Harris in the box, shot wide.

A note about the formation. Joseph is lined up at right back, Pierce is on the left side of central defense.

Things are very chippy. Harris and Hernandez have both been taken down hard.
