I feel sorry for Egypt, really. I've always liked them. But someone has to go home

While I do think Russia has some quality, I want to see how they do against Uruguay. SA and Egypt aren't good.

 

I could. I have said 1 month before the tournament started that they will advance because they will be helped by the referees, just like Brazil have been helped in 2014, and SK in 2002.

Well, Russians have advanced, but they haven't been helped. They've advanced because they have actually played well

 

If Bob Bradley was still their coach, things would be different...

Salah plays only at 30% of his strengths. He cannot challenge physically for the ball, jump, dribble, force his way through plays. Egypt are at a disadvantage with him on the field because he avoids contact ( understandably) and that confuses also his teammates.

 

I wouldn't be so sure ... In 2014 Russia was also in a weak group. Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea. Similar to this group ... one powerhouse team with 3 weaker teams. There's at least 1-2 groups like this in every World Cup.

 

5-0 and 3-1...Now the real test is next with Uruguay...Please don't stink...lol

The Russians ran 100 mph the full 90. I don't see Uruguay getting anything from them.

 

I can't imagine Salah played all 90 minutes...What an abuse of health!

Have to disagree with you , GROUP H: Poland, Colombia, Senegal, Japan is worse even though some might say they both are similar but for me it is the crappiest group in WC history.

Let me tell you... If I were from Portugal or Spain I'll start feeling a little quizzy right now.
