Their faces were twitched in grimace from the struggle the put in to win this match

This is what football should be about
And Marocco also correct but these guys had zero chance and i thought they would have zero motivation

    Bravo

This is what happens to a country when you get rid of Jurgen Klinsmann.

this was definitely the weakest group in the world cup.

weakest germany of all time: toothless and cant score, the only good moment of the tournament was the kroos free kick goal.

weak mexico side who got a fluke win against germany and got pounded by an average swedish side.

a weak south korea side who did not play that bad, kept their losses respectable, but did not do anything special. they beat a german side who gifted them 2 goals, and should really have scored more/earlier with all the space the non existent germany defense game them but they kept messing up counterattack after counterattack. in fact their goal came off a corner due to a horrific german mistake.

sweden: very average side that took advantage of a piss poor weak group.

how I wish Iran was in this group... we would have qualified for sure, perhaps topping it. instead of playing this germany though we got spain who instead of giving us space at the back and free goals they got a fluke rebound goal off diego costas leg. but oh well this is football. luck plays a huge part.

Brazil is a better matchup for Mexico than Sweden. Of course if they really wanted to, Brazil could play like Sweden and easily pick up the victory.

Morocco absolutely did. They may be on separate continents, but at its nearest, they are only 15 miles apart. They are regional rivals.

    Dear USA,
Thats how you play a game 3 vs. Germany. Not starting Brad Davis.

    Nobody needs this context. LOL

Anyway congrats on a beautiful win to SK. Sad to see only 2 teams advance from this group.

So, per the volkswagon commercial, Belgium is going on. Germany is not, Iceland is not and now we'll have to see about Switz and Brazil.

Come on...I think it is Germany who should be thankful. I'm pretty sure Brazil would win with at least 3 goals difference.
Germany team is bad, and this wouldn't change.
    Too many overrated players IMHO.

The last Champion who isn't Brazil to make it past the group stage was Germany.... in 1994.

Champions need new blood after winning. Heck, even Brazil in 1962 did it by NOT relying on Pele.

    Yikes.

The Korean GK played more like Neuer than Neuer himself , amazing performance by him , looked like nothing can get passed him

You should be really proud. Korea was amazing, and taught the overrated Neuer a lesson.

Loew underestimated SK. We could’ve easily scored 3 or 4 goals, but the team had a bad game in general. Werner is freakin overrated and not experienced enough for big stage like WC.

Not sure but I think they were tied for getting out of the group the most consecutive times with MX and one other team.
