AC handball, VAR doesn't give it... don't know how that's not a handball with arms that far from his body.

Liverpool controlling, just created a good chance. Cleared by AC for corner. Would have been a goal otherwise.

Hasn't had too much of the ball 15 minutes in, but has created danger when on it à few times.

Kepa is looking good. Hasn't had to make any incredible saves, but very assured.

Chelsea looking pretty okay defensively, not as good going forward.

CP took a bad touch but has been making good runs. Giroud is going to be isolated for much of the match, unfortunately for Chelsea... hardly a dangerous counter threat.

apropos of nothing just thinking how spectacularly unlikely it is that frank lampard is almost immediately a fantastic manager

Someone tell Pulisic an assist is as good as a goal

CP could learn a lot from Pedro's movement.

pulisics best contribution is to win a header(!!!) at the outside of the box and setup an overhead kick attempt by giroud

Needed to put Pedro through there, shouldn't have tried to dribble around Matip there.

Liverpool are playing too slowly. They aren't punishing Chelsea's pressing at all. Not a good performance from them at all so far.

A ball to no one, classic CP. Don't think anyone would have been there had they made the run, CP was the guy who was put in on goal.

I felt like Giroud stopped his run there. Puli spotted the run but Giroud wasn't there.

Pulisic looks entirely average when surrounded by other talent

CP wrecked by Matip. Then Chelsea get a 1v1 with the keeper!

LFC not looking good at all.

oh I agree. He doesn't look up when he makes those passes. It's why he plays better with pure poachers who are always looking to get in on goal.

Good run by CP, well-defended by Gomez to deny the chance.

Not too happy with this off the ball movement, not doing a great job of getting open and thus not seeing much of the ball, and when he does get it, his normally world class touch is uncharacteristically loose.

    Though I loved his cross
