DC can finally put the playoff question to bed ..... by losing.

Or maybe even tying, that is the best at not-losing that they seem capable of here lately.

So, I predict an exciting 5-5 draw. Or 0-0.

those some babies only a mother could love....

I predict DC will torture us all the way through the week we don't play, so 2-1 for the team that hails from the land of mambo sauce (not to be confused with Mumbo Sauce from Chi-town even though that is probably where it originated...).

I think we get 4 points out of the next two. Probably 3 tonight and then draw next match to eliminate us from the playoffs...

Take that shit to the optimism thread. You say we don't have an optimism thread? We had one in 2015 but it was closed.

I am going for a 1:1 draw with a mishit Ruan cross finding Benteke's head within 10 min of either side of halftime, only to be equalized in the last 15 min.

dont forget the "save up all the urgency until the final minute(s) of stoppage" so it looks like we really care

If we need 4 points for a chance to get in the playoffs and 6 points for a really good chance, I assume we will win tonight and then lose to NYCFC on Saturday at home because that's what DC United does (or at least that's what it's done for the last 15 or so years)

I presume all of this will happen after a 3 hour weather delay

So the Crew move to TX where they become the worst of 3 clubs in that state instead staying OH where they would be the worst of 2.

Crew is still in Cowlumbus. The owner moved to Austin and MLS gave him a team instead of moving the Crew...

Who do you think we're playing, Kansas City? :D

I have begun tailgating, got chicken quarters o the grill and one glass full of vodka & lemonade and another with some blueberry sour beer-ish concoction from the mountains of Salem Va.

Alrighty folks. I just finished watching a replay of the CL game for my Magpies. I'm elated.

Now to tune into some sadness and despair.

Ok I've not watched a game at Austin before. Frankly the green field with matching seats is not a good look.

On the more interesting side, you could totally use a green screen filter to make all sorts of absurd videos about of their home matches.

And they're going to wear pale green kits? Sorry this is just too much.
