Really. Black levels off the charts. Shame we couldn't have a professional-quality production crew for Last Call.
I'm trying to remind myself that Gomez, in his early years, took a dumb red card or two. Trying. But we'll never win shit if Acosta doesn't grow the ******** up.
We’re just going to have to accept that Miranda is really bad and won’t be with the team next season more than likely
We don't need to accept shit from the talent evaluations of this team. Brown is ineffective. That I accept based on actually watching him play. As I've not seen Miranda play anywhere near the same minutes I can't draw any conclusions.
A loss to RBNY's reserves? We need upgrades at, at a minimum, five positions to make the playoffs next year.
I have to send the interns a thank you note for the Facebook live feed of the Farewell Ceremony they broadcast via their iPhones after the game. That was very sweet of them.
Clark, dude, talk is cheap, you sucked on the winner. Bye RFK, hello Audi! Watching the replay, Acosta did nothing, not even a card.
That red card was complete BS. And nothing to Robles who instigated the entire thing. Emilio looks like he can still play. Sign him up.
Read the credits- Stevie Wonder in the production van or in the case of that group the lawnmower trailer. You had to know the whole day was going to die a horrible death when the easy stuff went to hell. Big plus, Lindsey whatever is gone for the next 4 months
Really bittersweet. Sad goodbyes to the folks in Lot 4 and the Champions’ Club bar — hugs all around. Great first half. Second not so good, Clark isn’t the answer. Lucho needs Zoloft.
Does he? I couldn't see a thing from where I was, but a lot of people seem to be saying that he did nothing. I dunno what the truth is here.
I was in the mezz above the scrum, it looked as though he kicked out at someone. I saw the video and he didn’t, Robles got in his grill and leaned on him with arms outstretched and Lucho shoved him. Gantar is an asshat for issuing the red card, but Robles knew he could goad Lucho, that isn’t good long term, the kid needs to chill out. Don’t get in fights or retailiate, that’s what the Geoff Aungers and Ivan McKinleys of the world are for.
Lucho, has a serious discipline problem. In the end of the first half he had a player (forget who) give him a good rib nudge, whether intentional or not I can't seem to remember. So what's he doing in the second half , well of course whining around to the ref about the non call all the time, constantly pulling up his shirt saying see see look at me.. I mean for f sakes, do you think the ref even wants to talk to you at this point? Maybe you should focus getting up 2 to 1 ... just an idea. ... I am sure it was part of the reason the ref felt like shutting him up and sending him off regardless whether he did something or not.
Put yourself in his boots. He's a munchkin running around getting hammered all day. The refs don't care, and what's worse, his teammates don't care. He gets no respect from any direction. I wish he had the ability to turn off the passion that fuels him from time to time, but I can't blame him one bit when he gets fed up. To me, it's easy to tell him to cool it when you haven't been in his place. It's a minor miracle he's made it as far as he has given his stature, I can only imagine the battles he's had to fight that other players never had to think about.
Got home a while ago and watched the replay of Acosta's red card. I couldn't see anything deserving of a red card either. Shepp Messing said he spit. I couldn't see that either, but the ref was right there and he didn't hesitate. asitis
He may have, I dunno. But I usually take as a rule of thumb that anything Shep Messing ever says is wrong.
Here is what led to Lucho's red card. If there's something red worthy here, I can't see it. 🤔 Sure glad we have VAR for moments like these, right @MLS? #DCU | #DCvNY 1-2 pic.twitter.com/WavjNq1QPg— D.C. United (@dcunited) October 22, 2017
