True story -- I went up to NY yesterday afternoon to visit my dying uncle in hospice this morning ... on Eastchester Ave in the Bronx. I considered staying for the DC match since I had 1 more change of shirt and skivvies, and then I really thought about it. I left his room in that hospital, went to the subway, headed to Port Authority, and caught the first Greyhound back to Maryland.
Oy! Did you not read the opening post? "MLS N&A play by play threads are neutral spaces. Keep all rivalry-esque banter out of these parts." Oh wait, you're not a Sounders fan. Never mind, carry on.
He’s pissed. The Timbers player bumped Clarke while he was up for a cross and he landed with his legs on either side of the post. Now it seems he may have injured something in his nether regions.
Why does NYCFC have things painted like cigarettes in the “left field” stands with their logo on them?
I was thinking earlier how disappointing the Whitecaps have been in their entire time in MLS. I always thought of them as a top-notch organization with great fan support in the old days. In MLS they've been the definition of mediocre. Their fans have really deserved better.
