As one week ends, another begins! This past week saw weather delays, postponements, Josefgate end in Heinze OUT, the Sounders lose a game, games played in Canada for the first time in over a year, a Jozy Altidore appearance, and a lightning quick first half hat trick by Muhktar. Week 14 brings us lots of midweek MLS action, two weekday National Doubleheaders, along with pivotal conference matchups.

All game times are eastern. National TV games are noted, and all non-national games can be watched on your local teams channel or ESPN+. This is a NEUTRAL thread, In other words keep the bull**** out of here.

Minnesota and Austin are the only teams with just one league game this week.

Well, in ATX's case they can't play on FS1 and ESPN on consecutive nights, therefore only one game this week. They're only allowed to play National TV games it seems.

And when does Nashville play on the road?? It seems like they've been on a season long homestand so far!?!?!?!?!

I guess that means we should all go to Austin, MN and visit the Spam Museum.

I wondered about this too. Then it dawned on me that Nashville may have requested a lot of back-loaded road games so they don't conflict much with the Titans. I wonder if Atlanta United have done the same; they haven't seemed to play very many road games yet either (or Seattle, for that matter).

Of course, New England and Chicago look like outliers here. It doesn't seem to affect either team so far; The Revs are competitive no matter where they play. The Fire pretty much stink.

There are 26 league games this week.
Upcoming weeks (this was based on the original MLS schedule, things may have changed slightly)

    July 28-Aug 1: 15 games
    Aug 4-8: 26 games
    Aug 13-15: 13 games
    Aug 17-21: 26 games
    Aug 27-29: 13 games
Sep 3-4: 7 games (FIFA break)
    Sep 10-12: 13 games
    Sep 14-19: 26 games
    Sep 22-26: 14 games
    Sep 29-Oct 3: 26 games
Oct 9-10: 0 games (FIFA break)
    Oct 16-17: 13 games
    Oct 20-24: 25 games
    Oct 26-Nov 1: 25 games

    Nov 3-7: 17 games

Those red ones are essentially double weeks. There are seven of those left counting this week.

I guess the USA have qualified for the knockout rounds of the Gold Cup so the Rapids will miss 3 players for another couple of weeks. I was hoping the mighty Martinique would knock the Nats out, but no luck.

Swung by Rio Tinto Stadium this afternoon on the tail end of our trip to Utah. I was shopping for a Kreilach Jersey and forgot Vancouver was still playing here, and was confused at the number of cars in the lot. Makes sense now.

I think the Vancouver vs. Houston highlights are the shortest I've seen at 4 minutes and 25 seconds.

The ones where they show the lineups and both kickoffs and still only go ~4 minutes are truly sad.

Games have started and I still haven't decided which game to watch. I currently have the Miami game on because I'll enjoy seeing either team's misfortune (on one side Miami's inability to win despite cheating, on the other side Bruce Face). But I'm open to switching if another game is more interesting.

TFC-Red Bulls has been alright. Mostly it's nice to just see a game being played at BMO Field again.

    A goal happened.

The commentators keep misreading Traustason's name as "Tristanson."

Dom Dwyer must have compromising pictures of the TFC manager. That's the only explanation why he's on the field. He is terrible. Jozy might not be match fit, but at least he's not completely useless at soccer.
