I know I'm gonna get my allowance docked for this, but I think it's sad we have to fight just to get dad to come up out of his workshop.
Either that or I'm waiting for your mother to get home and take care of that shit so I can stay in my workshop to finish over-building this 250 lb TV stand bookshelf thing that nobody will ever use so I'll have to keep it in the workshop and use it for storing my toolz.
Looks a neat prospect. Although he's small, he isn't scrawny in the legs like K. Acosta or JGonzalez. Has a nice, low center of gravity. Has a nice turn of pace. Shields the ball nicely. Rides tackles well. Can pick out an attacking pass. Most importantly for a teenage mid's playing time, he gets on the ball. His defensive activity numbers are excellent. An elite work-rate often comes later for players. Pomykal, like Adams, has that now.
Highly rated on whoscored. No American players around him. https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/2...PlayerStatistics/USA-Major-League-Soccer-2019 Exact ranking is impossible of course, but the ranges of players are very sound. Another interesting thing is how highly they rate his defense.
Fine, but I'd just to point out that we had a multiple page Reyna diversion and none of you whipped out "Captain Backpass". I'm disappointed in all of you.

The question is if Berhalter will let them play or will he insist on lightening up on the opposition and give the opposition a big hole to play through. Berhalter's idea of a midfield is based on the Maginot Line. Originally last year I wanted a midfield of Adams-Trapp-Delgado. With Adams now improving his distribution and playing the 6 at Leipzig I'd move him to the 6 and with Pulisic improving his defense I'd play him in that run-thru-mid spot I had Adams in. Pomykaly I would use in that Delgado 8 role. It'll be hard to move Wes aside tho. Berhalter loves him some lung bustin 80yr runs to cover that gigantic hole he leaves in midfield. I know Pomykal mentioned he would love to play for Tab at club and he mite be better off doing that than trying to support Berhlater's "system".
Over 7.6 in 8 starts at cm/am. If he averages that for the rest of the season he'll be gone in the Winter.
I watched the Dallas/vcr game and noticed Pomykal was still playing as if he were playing with/against high level players. He needs to move on from Dallas at this point. He'd be an improvement over Blessing at LAFC. He'd be fantastic playing for Almeyda with godoy and yueil. He'd get the ball to the right guys in Seattlel altho they have a hole with Marshall having retired. He'd be a big improvement over Nagbe in Atlanta and Crew would love to have Nagbe. Toronto doesn't seem to be a serious club anymore. Other possibilities in MLS are not good enough, imo.
Dallas not selling him to an mls team man....and Dallas is just fine for his development. He needs to go to the Netherlands or Germany
Donovan, O'Brien & Reyna was hardly the tallest combo, but they got us pretty far in 2002. What matters is that the chemistry is there.
Not that it matters much, but the game has changed and those three never played in the middle together. LD played wide in all the games except centrally vs Mexico and upfront vs Germany. In the group stage, we played with only two centrally... o'Brien with Mastroeni in the opener and then reyna. For the two knock out games it was mastoeni, obrien and one of LD or Reyna,
