Lol @ the defender who's all like "oh, i know, i'll dribble it through traffic out of my own box!" and then a-a-ron just smacks it in.
Just about everyone has him on the left of the "2" in a 4-2-3-1, which is not a position you'd ever expect to see him in unless they were really playing more of a 4-1-4-1 with him in the "4". Alternatively, he was the in-possession #8 and the the out-of-possession #6 in the "2". Either way he was played centrally again, which is where his long-term future lies
Just judging from the highlights it does seem like he was played back a bit further. On his goal there were 5 utrecht attackers in the box and he was was lurking at the 18. Regardless, he's contributing which will keep on the field.
Another start, a goal and another TOTW for a permanent top 6 side. Frankfurt have to be very pleased with developments. They won't recall him at Xmas unless there's a serious injury crisis - he's on loan because he's not ready for an EL side at the top end of BL1 - but he'll be expected to challenge the starters next season.
3rd in the league, just 1 point behind the leaders (an obscure club from Bavaria) who happen to have a massive GD advantage.
In terms of central midfielders (DM's, CMs, AMs, etc.) they have a total of 9 on the books. The interesting thing is that only 3 of those - Shikiri, Brighton loanee Dahound and Gotze - are 28 or older. All the others are 23 or under and 4 are U-19s
No, more a commentary on the terrible Dutch defending, but also every Aaron should be a-a-ron and them's the rules.
Paxten played the whole match in a 1-0 win over Groningen, with Booth (Taylor's version) subbing on in the 63rd minute. Paxten one of many players on the squad with good ratings, as their amazing year of simultaneously being undefeated and five points back of PSV continues.
Utrecht has played (and won) what should be 2 of their tougher games this season - Twente home and AZ away. That still leaves, of course, PSVx2, Ajaxx2 and Feyeniex2. Feyenie for their part also beat Twente home, but I think that's the only top-6 team they've played in league so far. Ajax has played no top-6 teams, iirc, yet, but also has only played 6 total league games to Utrecht's 7 and everyone else's 8. AZ has had a slightly tougher start to their season than the other traditional "big 4" - but loses to PSV and Utrecht at the cheese market don't inspired confidence, despite their 9 goal drubbing of 'veen earlier in the year. It's early days, but Utrecht probably have had the toughest schedule so far of the 4 or 5 teams hoping to snag 2nd and are hanging tough so far. Good look for Paxten and crew.
Utrecht won 2-1, tho the Lisse goal came in injury time. Pax came out right after Utrecht's 2nd goal at about 60. Booth DNP.
Utrecht win 4-1. Pax scores at 88. Sparta down to 10 at 68. Booth starts but out at half. Puts them 3rd behind PSV and Ajax.
all I could find so far. Pings in a rebound in some traffic. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UINi0CXolqU
I just wish to note that Paxton and Booth are getting far too little love for guys (esp Pax) contributing to the 3rd place Ered team. Do Better! Tillman and Pepi are tied for 4th in Ered goals. Pax is 30th - and climbing!
