Pardo seems to be playing to collect his check now.

To me that edge he had with the conditioning he was receiving in Germany seemed to give him an edge over other Mexican players and it showed on field particulary that Honduras game (from the earlier qualifying stage)but now he's come back that edge has evaporated and now he's just a very smart player for his club but not enough to merit anymore call-ups once the qualifying situation gets sorted out.

I still give merit that the Bundesliga is still top 4 and that Pavel's style of play was totally complimentary to the style of the league. Look at Vicente Sanchez, he was a monster in the MFL, way better in every respect than Pavel at the time and what has he done in Germany so far? Yeah I know one example but still:D

Keep in mind that Pavel is tied with Borgetti for the most goals scored for Mexico during the 2010 WC Qualifiers. Very sad that those two are our top scorers, hell Borgetti hasn't had a callup in two rounds......we really suck at scoring and that's what really kills us at the end of the day.

Tengo ese partido completo, tu lo tienes? lo unico que se perdio es el balon parado, Gonzalo Pineda mas que iso su trabajo a la defensiva y ofensiva de la media cancha.

Y a balon parado, Ramon Morales ahi estaba.

Ademas, no puedes decir que es titular indescutible si eso fue hace 3 anos.

He showed nothing special as far as conditioning goes in that game against honduras.

I dont see his Intelegence at the club level either .. Did he play against chivas? ( Im being serious, I dont remember him in there at all.)

I've been thinking he was finished for some time now,and having watched Amierdica vs. San Luis a couple minutes ago confirmed it , hes so old and slow you forget hes even on the pitch,I think people just dont want to let him go because of his name just like Osorio,Salcido, but seriously calling him back is like wanting Ramon Ramirez back in the line-up, based on nothing but him being your favorite childhood player. Oh and for the record I still think Ramirez has got it in him.:D

Hey, that's true. Pineda should be considered. He played a lot under Lavolpe, and some under Sanchez.

Remember that one penalty kick he made? He was the talk of the town for a week, even had an interview alongside Lavolpe because of his awesome kick. And he would make a kickass replacement for Torrado.

Pardo is a washed up has-been. Siempre fue creido. He dissed Guille (lol) and isn't it true that Temoc and Pardo don't get along? Sheeet, an enemy of the Emperor is an enemy of mine!

    Pardo es lento y acabado
en los juegos, se ve muy cansado
he's the past and he's lame
    he's just not the same
what sucks: his replacement is Torrado.

You need to get off that chiva-cola your drinking man. Pineda was good...when he was at Pumas. Now however, hes just as mediocre as Pardo. Mexico truly needs another young holding mid

    Pavel >>>Torrado

    Torrado has garbage passing

ser peleonero y ser aguerrido no significa calidad

pero tecnico solo hay uno y son gustos

i personally think Pavel is better than torrado and castro

It's too bad Jose Francisco Torres didn't get called up sooner. I think the reason why people hate Edgar Castillo so much, but not Torres is two-fold.

1st. Edgar Castillo already wore the shirt once. Then turned his back on it. Low as fuk.

2nd. Jose Torres never got called up to Mexico, and when the US started calling him up, he said so himself that he was hoping Mexico would have done it first, but didn't. It was too late by then.

And by the looks of it, Jose Torres would've been an awesome DM replacing Torres now or in the future. He has speed, is a better passer and is generally a better technical player than Torrado is.

It sucks now for him that he may or may not see any action for the US. But FAK Castillo!

Luna no se contencion natural..he is now though but with an attacking attitude

Pavel is more attacking than defensive at America while villa was there he was usually the "torrado" of sorts

This is the right thing to say. Too many people forget what some players produced for the team and bash them like crazy.

If Bofo would show more effort i think he could have become a great player. I was watching some old games of his and he can be a creative player.
