The funny thing is in the newspaper advertisement they say Paul Edinger "chicago pro football player". Apparently they can't mention Bears or they would get sued.
Did Edinger play soccer at all growing up? Seems like it was an odd deal, having him make first kick if he hadn't.
yeah, I noticed that; pretty funny. I saw the game on TV. Seemed like a slugfest, lot of emotion. Scary finish! My friends went, said they had a great time.
In my Madden 2005 game, there's an interview with him and he says that he's the best soccer player on the team or something like that. I'm not sure that's entirely unexpected but whatever.
Paul did play soccer when he was younger... as a matter of fact, he got a complimentary Storm jersey and shorts for the game. He did kick out the first ball, and he also kicked around with the players before the game. Good guy... Storm plays the Blast this sat. night 12/11/04 at 7pm, at the UIC Pavillion... we need some fans chicago!!!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!!!!!!!!
