There was never an offer from PSG. Some third party bamboozled Acosta or someone in his orbit. PSG itself was never interested in him. I mean, you remember his form, right? Terrific but wildly inconsistent player at MLS level. Young, sure, but not “we can mold him like a sculptor molds clay” young. That’s not the profile of a guy French clubs like OM or OL are interested in, let alone PSG. Im a DC fan. I followed that story more than a general MLS fan would have. The whole thing was a fiasco. Might make a fun 30 for 30.
