The stutter step messed him up LOL... As a soccer player you don't have to think about your steps to the ball but that stutter made his planting foot not land where he needed it to and caused him to pull it wide. Serves him right because this is a form of cheating in my opinion and it shouldn't be allowed. You should have to have one continuous motion to the ball. While we're on that topic the offside trap should also be illegal.... If a player not involved in the play jumps up to put an attacking player offside who is in the play that should not count... The play should be continued as an advantage.
