The physical tools are all there, as is the attitude and work rate. The question is, as you say, whether he can handle the pressure, which is likely, and whether he has the extra gear needed for the Top 5.

Sargent scored 15 goals last season despite missing 14 games with an injury. I suggest that Big Pat is on schedule to score around 15 with having missed less games. I am not sure the EPL will come knocking for that.

EPL wasn't knocking on the door for Sargent either.

It's not like they are looking at just raw goal output though.

Exactly. Goals are an important metric but teams look at WAY more than that. Hold up play, role on set pieces both attacking and defending

the tools are not all there, unfortunately. His skills are really not at a top 5 level. I hope he gets there!

Skills have a ways to go. For his size, he's not good at hold-up play. He really thrives more further out with space between him and the goal. But he's developing. Hope one day he grows to (and beyond!) that level.

Let's go Big Pat! The MLS to Championship pipeline remains undefeated!

His technique is far from perfect sure.... but his physical traits pop. Dude incites chaos up front... Perfect for most Championship teams. I think he could be relatively successful from the get-go in the EPL if he goes to the right team. Palace looks like it is on a downward spiral so I am not so hot about Big Pat replacing Big Mat. Probably would be better to finish the year with Derby.... but I would be excited to see him take a shot regardless.

Kids today are always wanting to be on the phone even after scoring. It's kinda a weird look - "better teams call me"?

8th goal this season. A goal every 3 games, not bad at all for a newbie to the league. Hopefully he can finish with 13-16 goals if not more this season.

As I said earlier he is on Sargent's pace from last year but Josh missed 14 games.

Tuned in late. Saw the list of goalscorers and big Pat scored at least on the five Derby goals. He's getting it done!

Love it! I definitely didn't expect him to have so much success in his 1st season.
