Do you ever checking anything - anything at all, ever - before you post the same tired old post for the 3,456th time?

Eustace is an excellent coach who's made a real difference to teams and players alike everywhere he's been, as fans of Blackburn and, especially, Birmingham will attest.

Agyemang is in good hands. Could be better, yes, but it could be worse. A whole lot worse.

look up the number of transfer from Ligue 1 to EPL vs number of transfers from champo to EPL in recent years - MANY more from france, if you even care

Not sure Big Pat had much to do with that goal, but he was there and good to get accolades from the manager.

If the French club interest was real no guarantee they would’ve met Derby County’s transfer fee.

He’s not in a bad position.

Agyemang was on $104k per year at Charlotte. The lowest reported figure for his Derby County salary is $1.2m. Several reports put it at $1.5m.

That's as much or more in a month as he was making in a year and only a half a dozen players at either Lens or Nice are making more than €1m a season
    .

I'm sure the (ever so slightly greater) possibility of a transfer from the Champs to the EPL should have been a consideration for him. So should the desire of an improving club with a respected coach to make him their biggest signing in the last 5 years. He's a lot closer to man man there over the next 1-2 seasons than he would have been at Nice or Lens

There are so few center forwards that like to bang anymore so I imagine from what I've seen of him that he could have impressed just by doing that. He will only get stronger and more experienced at that. The scoring part will be key though.

I think as he gets more comfortable, the goals will come. He is made for the championship. There were many center forwards of his ilk in the poem 20 yrs ago. So, he is nothing new to football. I think he's in a good spot and will flourish.

Agree but that was my point - there used to be a lot of forwards like him but there aren't many like him now. I mean Germany has been using false nines and they used to be a forward making machine. It's sort of similar to the US not having great keepers any more when that used to be a given.

Good "big man" game from him. He should have scored, but did extremely well to get in that position- great turn and explosion toward the goal. If he's like this every game, he will do well there.

GOAL AGYEMANG! Cross in and he simply towers over two defenders to nod home from the six yard line. Nicely headed down and the kind of big man header you hope he can increase in frequency.

Started vs Southampton. Paramount+. Downs subbed on as well.

YA striker battle as Agyemang starts vs the Norwich Sargents. Derby brings their five match winless run up against Norwich's six match winless run, so it'll probably be a scoreless tie. Paramount+ if my sales pitch worked on you.

Big man strength and a refusal to go down and whine for a penalty. Nice shot by Ozoh to make the goal but Pat puts it on a platter for him.

So many American strikers in the Championship. If it weren't for their high wages, i wonder if we might have seen Patrick in a Belgium or Netherlands.

Netherlands outside of Ajax, PSV, Feyenoord and MAYBE AZ don't pay well and outside of Club Brugge Belgium isn't exactly paying well either. There's a reason you are seeing a lot of the top players in Belgium head to MLS

Agyemang started, played 71 minutes, and scored a peach of a header from a gorgeous cross on the stroke of halftime as Derby Co defeated Blackburn 2-1. Good outing for Big Pat today.
