This is totally off the subject of Arsenal, but bear with me.

I am here in Chicago and I have an extra ticket for the Sawdoctors concert this Saturday night. Unfortunately, all my friends will be too busy drinking themselves into a stupour for St Paddy's day, to take time out to see a quality Irish band play. Hmmm

    Anyone interested?

I'm not their biggest fan either. I was in college in Galway in around the time they made it big in Ireland (I'm showing my age now!). And with them being from Galway, you can imagine what it was like. I mean, the bloke can't sing, give me a microphone, I can shout down it too.

Thanks for adding a whole new level to the stupid situation I find myself in. I don't know all there is to know about music despite the fact that I have a degree in classical music. However, I still manage to somehow enjoy to some extent these boggly eyed c^nts. I must have something wrong with me.

As for going to see the Tossers....sure, but I don't have tickets to that show, I have tickets to the saw Doctors. Funny how that works.

It's times like these that I am glad I have turned my musical tastes towards jazz on the Blue Note label.

I think I'll go listen to Horace Silver right now, thank you very much.

Sorry. I'm a "hard bop" kind of guy. Silver, Monk, Bud Powell, Herbie Hancock, etc., etc.

Hang on now darlin' - only a real eedjut could fail to be amused by something so funny.

And as for the CL - we've got NOTHING to lose now. All the pressure's on you. I agree you've got a great team - but remember what happened to the England rugby team when they played Ireland last Saturday. Oh how the mighty have fallen - and it could happen to you too.

I was Cheering for Ireland...Thanks for reminding me why I should be in a good mood today. The English should lose...every chance they get. Thats part of Arsenals appeal....not as many English boys mucking it up

Careful there GG - too many exceptions and it wouldn't be a rule anymore...

Now - did I mention where I was when we won the Rugby World Cup?

I was so let down by the land down under that day. To many people were gloating and drinking that morning. I got to fly to LA for the mls cup with drunk Englishman who hadn't gone to bed or bathed in awhile....yum

...and naturally, you had the good grace to fully appreciate the full meaning of that fabulous victory to nation who hadn't won anything since 1966 and you were kind and considerate to your fellow traveller who's only problem was that he'd OD'd a bit on the craic the night before - and let's face it - who hasn't been there and done that?

It's such a tricky one. Arsenal or Chelsea... Don't like Chelsea, hate Arsenal. It's like a choice between two evil temptations... Ugh, and then there's Man Utd. Should have been sad that an English club got knocked out of Europe but I couldn't help but feel happy and joyous...

Is this wrong? How can something so wrong feel so right?
